AU where both Avery and Derek rush to recite the spell, hoping to say it before the other, in an attempt to sacrifice themselves to save the other. However, they end up saying the spell simultaneously. This causes the spell to go haywire; resulting in Derek, Avery, and the King to all merge into one body.

Both Avery and Derek's original bodies die. And the spell somehow creates a new physical body for them all to inhabit. The new body combines both Derek's and Avery's features together.
