Was aiming for 48” x 60”, came out 39” x 60” so far, but I’m hoping to be able to block it to a little wider and I’m ok losing a few inches of length for that

I keep forgetting to post these but here's Lucente Stella fully blocked and modeled! Weighed in at about 68 grams, making it 1200 yards... phew!

Finished my ocean quilt. I hid a few fish and shrimp in the stitching for anyone who likes a small treasure hunt.

(I'm guessing it's to do with interactions etc, so it privileges older photos in the ranking, but that's still kind of fun. So I thought I'd share! The wren really surprised me!)

Finished this today for my wife! The pattern is "You Are The Loaf Of My Life Cat Cross Stitch Pattern" by @samanthalanetextiles

First embroidery project. Entirely freehand. This is just some of the progress. It's slow going, but I'm having fun. The drawing is the idea for what I'm going for for the finished product. The idea is that I'm carrying a field of wildflowers to frolick through wherever I go. Like a tattoo of wildflowers climbing up your legs. But less permanent.

Feel free to send me other suggestions as well. Also, I know lavender doesn't quite fit the random wildflower idea since it doesn't grow that way but it's pretty so if you have similar looking flowers that do grow more sporadically let me know and feel free not to choose that option (I am debating its inclusion).

I've started adding the clover. This is the first thing I'm doing not freehand. I bought some water-soluble stabilization paper I could trace on, which I think will speed my process a lot. Especially with satin stitch, which I'd be scared to do freehand. (My heat-eraseable white fabric pen wasn't really doing what I wanted) I think it's okay so far. The next question is whether I do the flower "petals" with just long stitches, lazy daisy stitches like the other ones, or a bullion stitch.

Onto the daunting task of picking the next flower to start on. Dandelions maybe?

Poppies are done! Satin stitch is hard. Not much left to go now!
