Important note- You should take rest if you need it! We as a society need more rest than we can afford under the current system. That being said, I wanted to encourage us to live our best lives, spend time meaningfully, and achieve our goals in the short-term! Sometimes the activities I thought were restful like lying on the couch and scrolling on my phone didn’t actually make me feel any more rested. When I got up to go for a walk or pulled out a hobby even when I was tired, I ended up having way more energy than I expected at the start.

I’m the biggest advocate there is for rest and self care- we don’t need to be productive or push ourselves so hard, but it’s also good to balance that with motivation and doing the things in life that matter to you. You may never fully feel 100% ready or rested, so let’s practice being brave and not being afraid of our tiredness! ☺️✨
