rewatching fma 03 and like i truly believe that vic mignona is the perfect ed voice and i can't imagine it any other way BUT oh my god his voice is so obnoxious sometimes it genuinely makes me laugh. and like yeah ed would absolutely sound like that.

well what IF i called without warning (wanted it to be a whirlwind on purpose) (is that bad) and i had to knock a few back to feel normal (shooting the shit like it isn't important) (is that sad) SAD old me showed up with wet hair like it didn't matter and i didn't care..............

putting it out there that as someone whose favorite character probably is (narrowly) lestat this was still an incredibly disappointing season 2 me. it does not make me happy to see him pull all focus for a season of talking round and round his backstory and trauma without ever even spending a whole episode in the past and instead just trying to make him look more likeable in the present. i don't want that. i want to see all the things that turned lestat into the complicated monster he is. i don't want a full finale of dream sequence dancing over his traumas and only lingering on how watching women get murdered affected him (?????) while all the other characters (who are all poc) are involved in a drawn out torture scene. what are we even doing. this isn't fun this is embarrassing and annoying and makes me like lestat less.

like it makes me so sad bc I do really love lestat and sam reid is like a generational talent who was born to play him but the levels of apologia and retconning they did this season to prop him up at the expense of all other characters with no regard for how this intersects with him being one of the only white leads is SOOO……… like im watching sam reid put his whole lestussy into scenes that don’t hit for me at all bc im just mad the whole time about how they’re trying to make him look better. cast is so perfect and for WHAT……….
