remus is the only one who actually makes progress at a regular pace. his base isn't super cool or nice looking, but it's functional. he wants all of the advancements done before he worries about aesthetics. he put his bed next to sirius's. he has had to utilize ender chests to hide his really good loot, like netherrite, so that sirius doesn't steal it.

sirius likes to find all of the easter eggs (like, dinnerbone and jeb). he's always looting remus's chests because he can't be bothered to mine or harvest anything for himself. he likes making redstone contraptions and is the only one on the server to actually understand how to make them. he once accidentally found the deep dark biome and summoned the warden and screamed at the top of his lungs, running away from it (he accidentally led it back to the surface near spawn and everyone was maddddd).

james has read all of the minecraft handbooks cover-to-cover and thinks he's an expert (even though they are the first edition and the game has updated like crazy since they were published). when the happy ghast update was added, he thought you were supposed to send them back to the nether after you revived the dried ghasts and died immediately after going to the nether to check on them. he cried after lily and remus went off on him about how unethical and wrong it was to do that.

peter is the owner of the server. when he first created it, he made a mod pack for everyone to download (shaders, gameplay mods, etc.) in order for the server to work the way he intended. as a prank, he threw the herobrine mod into the pack but didn't tell anyone. he gaslit the FUCK out of everyone when they started to notice the leafless trees, figures without usernames, etc. he made a google form for everyone to request mods to add. he adds all of them. he also put a death count on top of everyone's heads and a list of general rules. he is very organized with his server and cares way too much about it.

lily is determined to make all of the notable nostalgic mcyt landmarks (dr trayaurus's lab, the castle from fallen kingdom, stampy's base etc.) so she doesn't ACTUALLY have a base (she usually just puts her spawn in whatever she's working on atm. she really only goes mining to get materials for her projects and to replenish her tools. she DOES kill mobs for barty because he gets scared, though. she doesn't really like killing the animals in game so she survives solely on berries, bread, and cakes that james makes for her.

mary doesn't leave the mines. she has a full stack of diamonds by day one. she LOVES trading with villagers but doesn't believe in making the trading halls because she wants them to be able to roam around and do their jobs/go about their days. she names the villagers (using nametags she found while mining) to know which ones have which enchantments/items. she doesn't care to build a base (she'll just move into one of the girls' bases if she really has to in the future), so she just moves into one of the houses in the village. she PROTECTS that village with her life, though.

marlene really only hops on the server to fuck with sirius. she loves griefing him with dorcas (they warn remus in advance through text/ private vc so that he can move all of his stuff, which he is appreciative of but he gets annoyed that he has to rebuild). she always has so many anvils in her inventory so she can drop them on sirius when he's afk or stationary in one spot. her biggest goal otherwise is to get all of the music discs, so she is constantly lurking at night trying to get skeletons to kill creepers (everyone gets mad because they want to sleep so phantoms don't spawn but she ignores them. phantoms do, in fact, spawn). she is always gifting dorcas (and only dorcas) her extra music disks.

dorcas, along with fucking with sirius, likes to fuck with barty and evan. she will sneak up behind them and play disc 11 and 13 to freak them out, especially when they're mining super late at night together in the caves.

barty is annoying EVERYONE on the server 24/7. he is the only one to ever request mods and he is always requesting the insane horror mobs and the ones with crazy tnt (peter thinks it's funny and adds them, so long as barty doesn't mess with him). like almost a year into the server (which is surprising that they all stuck with it that long), he decides there needs to be server lore and spawns the wither storm. everyone gets super fucking pissed at him. he is also insanely annoying when it comes to their vc on discord. every other phrase out of his mouth is "creeper, aw man" even though no one finds it funny but him (and peter) (he was insufferable when the minecraft movie was in theatres btw-- always spamming chicken jockey and i am steve). to annoy everyone further, he plays the minecraft parodies by MineCraft Awesome Parodys on youtube late at night when everyone is half asleep (he fangirled heavy when he dropped the slowed and reverbed version of mine diamonds out of nowhere and played it nonstop for a week). he LOVES to play the parody of space oddity to get remus and sirius angry. he also somehow made a base fully out of diamond blocks (without cheating). everyone thinks it's ugly but he loves it.

evan is crazy about strip mining. he thinks it's the best method of mining. when anyone comments on the fact that he is getting more cobblestone and copper than actually useful ores, he makes a big stink and goes into a big debate on why strip mining is better. he realizes that he is mistaken on strip mining like two months into the server when everyone has full diamond armor (some people netherite) but is too prideful to admit he's wrong so he just starts x-raying and somehow NEVER gets caught. he is also really passionate about farming, both for food and making mob and loot farms. he has so many full chests of loot that he just finds useless because he doesn't need them anymore. he does NOT let anyone take anything from them unless they are willing to reimburse him (he has a book and quill that he keeps on his person at all times or in an ender chest where he lists everyone's debts).

pandora has a million dogs, all named (there are no correlation between names they kind of give the same vibes as peoples' webkinz names from when they were kids just with proper grammar) with armor made of armadillo scutes. she likes to invoke pvp between anyone and everyone on the server (besides regulus who pays her off to not kill him) and just let her dogs do the work. if someone does kill one of her dogs, she goes quiet, walks away once the player is dead, and begins to plan her revenge. she is goated at making potions and will make a bunch of splash potions and once the person who killed her dog(s) least expects it, she will throw splash potions (including splash potion of harming II) at the player until she feels her dog(s) were evenged (sometimes chasing them around killing them over and over. with her good potions, she likes to keep them mostly for herself and her dogs, but she'll give them to people sometimes if they pay for it (she'll give them to lily and evan for free, though). she has a huge base with a lava moat and fully boobytraps her base when she knows she won't be online with the rest of them so that they don't steal her potions.

- when sirius was getting ready for his first real date with remus, james started crying because he was reminded of the slipping through my fingers scene in mamma mia

- lily and mary got really obsessed with glee one summer and when they were all together for a weekend, they threw so many slushies at people

- barty once fell out of a tree in the same style as gibby falling from icarly

- sirius was fred figglehorn’s number one fan growing up

- pandora as a kid had a phase where her only mode of transportation was skipping/ frolicking

- sirius and james’s favorite photo together is of them recreating the aliens embracing with their heads together (they each have a framed copy on their nightstands back at home and at school) (they made remus take the picture and he did NOT understand the reference)

- peter once got grounded as a kid because his older sibling walked in on him going into the strip club on gta (it was for a mission and he’s still pissed off about it to this day).

- regulus tortures people (usually sirius, james, or barty) on the sims if they piss him off.

- james wanted to go blonde one summer to try to pull lily/regulus, but was scared of bleach so he used an entire bottle of sun in and he turned into a ginger. he was too proud to admit that he thought he looked stupid so arrived at school with his messed up, patchy hair and got dogged on.

- no one can bring up satc around mary without her going into a full blown rant about how evil mr. big was for over an hour (she crinkles her nose, grits her teeth, and starts hyperventilating she’s so mad and it’s so freaking adorable)

- both sirius and regulus would bite as children (sirius way more)

- marlene has made multiple monster energy guns from empty cans

- marlene (though she’ll never admit it) physically cannot stand to watch movies where pets die because she will sob (remus will too)

- one time, peter and james were trying to build a treehouse to surprise sirius and remus with (they were visiting remus’s family in wales for the weekend). they were cutting it close with time and they forgot to cut out a door to actually be able to go in and out like that one episode of drake and josh. remus and sirius came home to james and peter screaming for help.

- dorcas is really into collecting pokémon cards. she sometimes goes live on her spam/finsta to open packs and goes crazy when she gets a rare card/ one she’s been wanting.

- barty and evan go out of their way to buy weed with the most insane strain names

- ^^ they found one called purple monkey balls once (a real strain btw) and giggled all the way home, giggled while they were rolling it, and giggled the entire time they were high.

- barty would go to those parties he’d find on snapchat from random accounts and break all of the appliances then dip (i already did this one but i genuinely believe he would pull ts)

- peter threatens people by telling them he’ll ‘turn them into an urban legend’.

- marlene sucks at cooking but wants to get better so she started making food and posting it on her story. everytime, without fail, sirius replies to it with the ‘I JUST MADE SOME BULLSHIT’ meme.

- pandora and lily, when they are insanely bored, love to play those playground hand games (miss mary mack, quacka diddly oso, etc.)

- sirius once received a megaphone as a gag gift for secret santa/ kris kringle one year and he would not put that thing down for like a month straight. mary was plotting the gifter’s murder because of how much more annoying he became.

- both dorcas and pandora were really into creepypastas as kids and bond over it well into their adulthood.

- the marauders pranked remus by signing him up for a performative male costume contest in a park near the potter manor. they thought he was going to get pissed off, but was surprisingly proud when he won first place

- lily is really good at ceramics, but she doesn’t like to do it at home. the owners of the pottery studio in her town know her by name now.

- ^^almost every gift she gives to people for birthday, christmas, etc. is something that she’s made.

-^^^ she makes one of the best ceramic bongs in town.

- evan talks into box fans so his voice turns all robotic when he’s really bored.

- sirius and regulus (before their relationship got bad) used to watch those pick lisa or lena videos together on youtube.

remus has no idea what he’s talking about. sirius purposefully leaves his lighter at home so that he can quote the video in public.

but as things i used to do/ see during my prime snapchat era in middle/ high school

- regulus used to post “don’t hmu… only real ones know” with a black and white photo of himself almost daily.

- marlene posts crazy subs about people whenever they piss her off. when they’d swipe up, she’d start trolling and picking fights out of boredom (these are like acquaintances, mind you). her entire my eyes only folder is full of fights. when she’s bored or needs a good laugh, she’ll go through them.

- remus has accidentally made group chats with everyone he has added on multiple occasions.

- if you call mary on snapchat, she’d first be pissed off because she doesn’t understand why you’d call her on there. but then, as you start talking about whatever, she’d start to play with the filters and completely ignore what you said.

- james would post those anonymous message stickers every single day. at first he’d get a bunch of responses and answer them all the second they came in. but then, as people grew tired of it and would stop responding, he’d send in ones himself.

- ^^ they’d always be like ‘your so fit xx’ (incorrect grammar so everyone would know it’s him) and he’d be like ‘stoppppp thank youuuu ☺️☺️’

-^^^ OR they’d be like ‘who do you like’ or ‘who do you fancy’ and he’d be like ‘swipe up i’m not telling 😉’

- sirius would add those sfs accounts and send in amos (add me on your story) of all of his best pics and get like a million adds. to this day, he has randoms snapping him on his birthday and his entire snap map is filled globally.

- peter, every morning, would check who’s birthday it was by searching the 🎂 emoji and would post a black screen with the caption “hbd @/user” even if he didn’t know them at all.

- lily was so locked in on getting all of the snapchat badges. she teared up a little the day they were removed.

- all of dorcas’s best friends emojis are customized to whatever her aesthetic is for that month and they match the vibe of her bitmoji’s clothes.

- barty would swipe up on those random air bnb parties people would host to try to get an invite and would either call the cops to report it or show up and start trouble. hed always try to get evan to go with him but he always said no. (I DID NOT DO THIS)

- pandora really liked the snapchat games and would fully rage over bitmoji party.

- evan would get dogged on for having a low snap score, so he made a fake account and started spam snapping it to get his score up. he also spam snapped celebrities before it got patched.

- remus would find himself on the explore tab of snapchat when he was insanely bored and would become genuinely outraged at how dumb the news articles were.

- sirius would also be a quick add warrior and would somehow be snapping literally EVERYONES moms.

- regulus had multiple private stories with the same name (just a little bit different like an extra space in between emojis or something) and would exclude/include specific people so that he could talk shit without people knowing.

- peter for like a month was a wyll (what (do) you look like) warrior but quickly stopped because he realized the conversations never went anywhere and he wanted to actually make friends.

- mary and dorcas share a fake account that they have just in case they need to check if peoples’ partners are cheating/ faithful (they’ve never had to use it so far)

- lily used to set an alarm on her phone three times a day to send streaks. she’d drop anything to snap a black screen with a drawn on ‘s’ to almost everyone on her snap.

- barty sends ‘gray arrow checks’ monthly to his entire snapchat to check if people unadded him (if the arrow is red, he’s still added, if it’s gray, they unadded him) to free up space since he hit the limit of how many people he could add. once that stopped working, he’d pick a random name (like, edward, or something) and would unadd everyone with that name unless he knew them personally.

- if a random hits up evan and he thinks they’re ugly or cringe, he’ll block them immediately.

- marlene would make a gc for the girls and would post those ‘swipe up with an emoji for a tbh/ rate!’. nine times out of ten, she’d respond ‘7/10, you’re cool but i don’t know you that well’.

- evan would be ‘bromantic partner’ or ‘brosier’

- reg would be ‘brotato chip’

- sirius would be called ‘brohemian rhapsody’

- james would be ‘brotein shake’

- pandora would be ‘brotanical garden’

- dorcas would be ‘bromato’

- peter would just be ‘my brother in christ’

- lily would be ‘brochaco’

- mary would be ‘brotosynthesis’

lily became their year’s nail tech (she doesn’t even like acrylics/long nails on herself she just likes to do nail art)

dorcas LOVES fake it flowers by beabadoobee

james would drive a jeep and would participate in all of the jeep-owner-inside-jokes (duck duck jeep and the 'jeep wave')

james also lost his glasses case the second he got them and now has permanent scratches on the lenses and constant fingerprints because he just throws them to the side when he needs them off.

^^lily/ regulus (whoever floats your boat) always grabs them off of his face and they’re like “how the FUCK do you see out of these” and he’s like “idk i'm him ig”

marlene strives to be as cool as marceline from adventure time (little does she know she is already cool af)

pandora takes trading on animal crossing WAY too seriously

barty, evan, and regulus (when they were younger) found so much joy in scamming children on adopt me

sirius HAS pranked the potter manor by replacing framed pictures of james as a child with john pork. the only person who gets annoyed by it is james (effie and monty don't really understand it, but are happy sirius is comfortable enough in their home to pull shit like that) (james gets mad because he thinks he was a cute kid and wants sirius to put them back up).

peter glitter bombs everyone over the summer (he's the only one who thinks it's funny).

mary makes scrapbooks detailing her entire summer and makes a big deal of putting on a whole presentation for lily and marlene (eventually dorcas and pandora, too) detailing every single day on the first night back at school.

peter used to religiously watch the yo mama joke compilations on youtube the night before he went back to school for like four years so he could be prepared to get back at the marauders when they made jokes at his expense. he never ended up using them ever because he felt bad.

sirius and barty (at some point) have had a rap battle that they have taken way too seriously.

^^they have each secretly written diss tracks about each other on multiple occasions. sirius had remus proofread his and remus thought it was the dumbest thing ever.

pandora has written fan fiction of EVERYONE. they are all crazy crack fics. she has only ever shown evan and lily, who think they are the funniest things they have ever seen.

all of the boys have slipped on banana peels at some point.

remus and lily are CRACKED at fortnite. james and sirius are genuinely horrible. peter is mid at fortnite but could usually hold his own. marlene just cares about having a funny skin and emoting on sirius when he's knocked. mary prefers fortnite festival (which she is too good at).
