vermillion   paws   kissed   the   earth   with   aplomb,   equanimity   jazzing   across   golden   spheres   casually   examining   the   surroundings   ㅡ   the   verdant   wands   of   pine   waved   in   arboreal   air   whilst   their   leaves   oozed   magic;   so   much   so   that   the   wolf   could   feel   it   from   core   to   claws,   from   heartbeat   to   respiration.   the   night   was   dreaming,   villagers   long   far   away   from   the   monstrosities   dwelling   in   that   maw   of   green:   it   was   thus   time   for   him   to   retreat   and   find   shelter   in   his   own   safe   haven;   a   haven   that   was   prone   to   be   occupied   by   her.

the   soft   breeze   around   him   shifted,   his   energy   surrounded   his   wolven   form   like   a   furious   tornado   devouring   whatever   stood   before:   it   was   then   that   his   form   altered,   giving   entrance   to   a   silhouette   not   entirely   human   and   not   entirely   beast.   a   silhouette   that   was   cursed   from   the   moment   he   exhibited   himself   to   the   mortal   realm:   alienated   by   those   who   feared   him,   he   was   the   one   who   would   silence   the   world   [   …   ]   for   he   was   the   beginning   of   the   seed   and   fragile   branch…   the   dominion   of   demise   and   life.

❝   oi   oi!!   ❞   guttural   vocals   came   from   the   coffin   of   his   throat,   knocking   on   the   window   veiled   by   homemade   wool   curtains.   ❝   i’m   hungry,   you   damn   grumpy   and   crazy   woman.   not   a   single   villager   tripped   and   i’m   fairly   certain   you’re   the   reason   behind   that…   so   i   demand   aliment!   now!   ❞

           kikyou  laughs,  and  her  smile  is  that  of  a  thawing  winter  (   she  is  the  light,  she  is  the  sun   )   ----  moving  towards  the  entrance,  she  uses  an  arm  to  lift  the  barricade  of  fabric  and  faces  the  wolf.

           ❝  my,  my...  i  see  hunger  gets  the  best  of  you,  sett.  ❞   red  and  white  move  past  his  towering  form  swiftly,  only  to  stand  beside  him.  countenance  is  soft,  but  there  is  that  little  grin  behind  her  words.  ❝  do  you  think  so  little  of  me  that  i  would  forget  to  repay  one  for  their  good  work?  ❞  she  feigns  disappointment.  

          ❝  and  i  here  i  thought  we  were  friends.  ❞​
