Some people, especially in yfms case confuse cannon with fannon. No ship's cannon or any trait you wanna add is cannon, it pisses me off to say this

Nothing wrong with having headcannons at all, it's only an issue when you push onto someone

A lot of time it's shipping, or even sometimes on Pinterest, arguments about "oh benatar isn't emo!!" "Benatar is Emo!!" We literally don't know

The fact he talked about Morrissey could mean anything cus there are lots of ppl with diverse music tastes

You can't act as if you're rwj and know everything about them, cus he barely even went and talked about their traits

Yfmts is too short to actually showcase any uniqueness in the characters, there are no implied ships, and neither do the songs prove anything (if you try to tell me about the deepuff thing in pity fuck, consider the time it was made. Every single "implied" ship was literally made in a time where gay=funny, so it was only for comedic effect😭, so basically rwj didn't confirm them, but basically made fun of the ship and gay people)

In the end, all I'm trying to say is

Why couldn't rwj expand on his own characters? And also please remind yourself not everything you think is cannon is actually cannon, your idea of the characters could be wrong. They're literally blank canvases for you to imprint your own idea of them on it

Don't attack other people for having different headcannons 😁 and for the ones like "blank likes getting r*ped" and other proship things, still doesn't give you the right to attack. They're bad, yeah, but they will literally not listen/care, so at best just block and move on. 😭
