The next thing Octavo knows, he's been tackled to the ground. He drops the staff in favor of trying to fend off Sun's fists. "Stop- stop it!!" He slaps at Sun a few times before teleporting out from under him, reappearing a few feet away. "Fine! I'll put it down. Good gods, you didn't have to attack me." Frowning, he brushes off the front of his shirt.

"I-I'll get in trouble," He repeats.

Not this time, though. He tries, but...

One moment Sun was frozen in place, eyes wide and watching as Octavo twirls the weapon and then the next?

Seeing the enthusiasm made Chris nod back, his eyes sparkled if one could see real close to his eyes. He was just as excited to find a friend and someone to eat ice cream with. Although his expression seemed neutral.

How cute the other could make little monkey noises! "Of course, you can get many green ones as you want... I like the strawberry ones." As they begin to walk to the near by shop, and the other begin to introduced themselves. Christopher couldn't help but reply back.

"Chris..." he repeats. A simple enough name. He's sure he's fought a guy back home in the ring named Chris. This guy didn't look anything like those guys. He's softer-looking and more friendly, for sure!

"How about I show you what a dock or a port looks like when we're not covered in plants." The Godling says with a warm smile to Sun.

Any of the aching soreness that had lingered far past its welcome in that endless metal maze felt as though it had multiplied twin fold from its original settlement in his nerves, his bones. The wound in his chest had felt just as piercing as it had the first time. He'd woken up on the soft mattress he'd largely been ignoring since waking up in this place, and the shame that had burned hot behind his ears, up the back of his neck, had been just as infuriating. It didn't matter that there had been no one else there to see.

So ever since he'd gotten back the capacity to walk, Grimmjow's been avoiding the place. Problem being, the whole damn city seems to have come together to get even louder, to somehow have even more people flooding the streets while he's still confined to them.

With all the light flooding upwards, seeing the stars is still a rarity here. The moon, though, has been the same silent companion it always has-- at least until tonight.

Perched as high up as he could get himself by sneaking and forcing his way through doors that he probably shouldn't have (as if he would have cared, anyway), the relative silence is broken suddenly and violent by a fucking explosion in the sky, bright and loud and booming, and every survival instinct in Grimmjow forces him to scramble back from the building's ledge.

"What the fuck--"

Now, before he knew it, it was late. Still, with the sun down, the moon up, and the stars sparkling, it didn't look like people were ready to head home any time soon. Sun, to avoid the crowd (because he was beginning to feel nervous and itchy), decided that finding a higher vantage point to avoid the crowd would be a better idea. On the building ledge, he watches the people below him laugh and have a good time. Then---

CRACKLE, CRACKLE, BOOM!

The sound is what startles Sun first, but the large explosive noise in the sky is what really scares him. Sun jumps back away from the ledge. He shrieks, teeth bared at the bright lights in the sky, as if he were ready to fight whatever was up there. Nothing. Just bright lights that seemed to have just sprinkled out.

The noise had been frightening, but the sight? ....Well, it was anything he hadn't seen.

?? Golden brown eyes turns. Because at some point, he could have sworn he heard someone else.

Sure enough--!

"That's good to hear, I'm glad, Sun." The boy smiles. Circumstances aren't ideal, but at least neither of them is alone right now. He stands slowly, offering his hand to the other. A part of him says he shouldn't draw attention to the injuries, but that would surely be counter-productive in the long run.

"It's okay," he says. "I can fight for both of us. I like fighting." It's the truth, but also a way to reassure Vio that he'd make sure that they both got out with as minimal injuries as possible.

Her question stumps him, though. He sniffs, rises a hand to wipe at his nose. Weird. He feels weird. He never did get asked something like this. Didn't have to think much about it. He only knew what he knew. My name is Sun. It was the only thing he had to his name. Not even the staff was his. Or so he thought.

"Yes, I remember you... we were looking at the autumn tree falling. I'm glad you're doing OK..." Christopher gave a slight nod to their comment, thankfully he does remember those he met here; even if it was short lived. "Its good to see you... I was honestly thinking about getting ice cream..."

He remembers him! Sun nearly jumps with joy, but he holds himself together. Still, there's a little happy monkey noise that's barely audible that passes from him.

"Ice cream!" He gasps out but nods. "Yes, please. I--i like the green one!" Mint had become his all-time favorite, it seems.

At least until he turned a corner.

His eyes snap only a little too late to the crouched form seemingly waiting for him. A reflexive twitch of his hand reaches for- something- that isn't there and that he forgets he can't bring to the surface. So instead his body jerks back out of instinct of finding something-- someone-- that he hadn't been anticipating.

He pins the taller man to the ground, teeth bared, revealing sharper-than-normal canines. He's always been one to quickly act on the battlefield. Hesitation was never good. It was how you lost a fight.

Anyway, at least he's also quick to realize it isn't an enemy, but another person. He had been so close to truly attacking.

His reaction makes Seluna quirk a brow. The lad might not be too used to meeting new people, so she smiles and nods to reinforce the fact that she is indeed happy to meet him. She does believe he's a fun person.

"Oh! Up there...?"

"I've never been to those isles... not like I'm scared of heights or anything!" She then clears her throat a moment, trying to change the subject. "So, how's the Monkey guy? Is he a monkey like I'm a wolf?"
