last year I cut ties with the popular guy of the only friendgroup I have, and left the primary groupchat of that friendgroup (to my knowledge, there are only 2 groupchats, a main one and one when popular guy got dumped by his ex and we discussed it without bothering him)

and slowly it became harder and harder to find time to play with the other ones (0 social life = I'm available every night)

last week at least 3 of us were supposed to meet irl, but nobody talked at all in the secondary groupchat

and this week, suddenly they managed to play every night (and even daytime) with that guy, even people I didn't see active in months managed to be available every night to play together

fair conclusion: I am not wanted, even by people I know for 20+ years :)

good outcomes: -no need to search for multiplayer games they won't even bother download before going in vocal chat -no need to wait for (late) replies about others' schedules to spend time together (for them to actually show up 20% of the time)

bad outcomes: -no one to play or chat with outside of family -low confidence takes a shot

on one hand, they're more appealing to me than the Paldea ones

with all the shit Nintendo has done this year, I've lost the spark

I won't be buying anything Nintendo-related obviously, despite Pokémon being something that took a huge part of my life since birth

but then, idk what to draw

I've thought about drawing pixel arts of MtG or Digimon cards, but the arts are often too detailed to render well in such small format, at least with what I'm capable of doing

ik some people do great devamps of Digimon cards, ik I won't unless the illustrations are super simple (Betamon and Tsukaimon have simple illustrations)

so idk
