Summer Klaine Week 2013 is here for one reason only: to bring back our fandom. After a year of wear and tear, it's just a little something to boost our spirits. Art, Writing, Music, whatever. If you would like for your work to be posted, please tag it as summer klaine week 2013 or skw2013. (Keep in mind only the first 5 tags on the post show up in the public tags) Check our about page and FAQ if you have any questions. Spread the word! .

I know it's still a while until summer really starts and gets going, but since there are a number of people still following this blog, I wanted to check to see who would be interested in participating in a klaine week this year. Last year was a huge success and I wanted to give the fandom the chance to do this again if possible.Â
So reblog/like if you think you'd like to participate (or see some other people participate) and I'll keep you all updated moving forwardÂ
This is my take on how I think Klaineâs reunion should happen. I figured I would end on a happy, hopeful note.Â
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy.
Also, check out my: âHow Klaine Changed My Life" post!Â
And despite the lack of Finn in this story, Iâm dedicating this story in loving memory of Cory Monteith. I love you, Cory. Thank you for everything.Â
I (Amina) just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, a big thank you to everyone who participated. Even though yesterday rocked everyone's world for the worse, the week that led up to it truly made me happy. The amount of love in our family was just amazing, and the turnout with submissions was so much better than I could have hoped.Â
Of course even though the days are over, if there is something that was missed or something you would like to post later, feel free to tag it appropriately.Â
Thank you to everyone, this truly was a successful week, and I hope we continue to spread this love across the fandom (both within our klaine fandom and the much bigger, inclusive glee family).Â

I'm a couple days late on this one...it's AU, told from Kurt's perspective, for Day 2 of Summer Klaine Week.
 New York City, 1920
I look up from my coffee and rub my fingers on a linen napkin. The novel is close to finished, but who would buy it? Iâm eighteen, a street sweeper during the day. Haunting this bar for its music as sweet as honey, for its darkness, is just a temporary distraction. But  I need temporary distractions. Life hasnât been simple for me.
Some say their lives arenât as complex as theyâd like, but they canât know what complexity of this depth and inescapability feels like. Iâm held hostage in myself.
You see, I like men, their deep voices, beautiful shoulders. Iâm not supposed to. Lord, Iâm really not supposed to. But what can you do when youâre born a certain way?
Iâve been told to stop living, and I tried that. I tried to find some other person within myself, some understudy that I could occupy to get through. But in the end, all I have to give is me.
Someone walks out from behind the bar counter and sits at the piano. Heâs short, plainly dressed. I canât see his face, but if the way he plays is any indication of beauty, he must be stunning.
Something strange and strong fills me as I look at him. I feel I know him, the way his hands move across the keys. I take off my glasses and trace his curls with my eyes, hollow with longing. Itâs unlikely Iâll ever find someone. Oh, Iâll be with someone, several someones, Iâm sure. Itâs easy as dragging your finger along a crack in the floor and getting dirt stuck under your nail. But to actually find someone, someone enduring? That doesnât exist for me.
The man at the piano starts to sing softly. Heâs probably not supposed to, but itâs late, and the bar is vacant, and who would complain? His voice is gravy. Just gravy. Itâs the most beautiful voice I have ever heard, smooth, with just enough heat and breath to be distinctive and⌠exceptional.
I listen to him sing, hypnotized, for the next quarter hour. When he finally stands up and turns around, he looks straight at me. Lean, powerful eyes, a faithful chin, a slightly angled nose and intense eyebrows. Heâs riveting in the pastel light of the bar lamps.
His mouth curves slightly, favoring the same small bend as his nose, and we hold each otherâs gaze so long that my entire body grows warm and tremulous. Then he does something unexpected. He walks towards me unhesitatingly.
I look down and hurriedly put my coffee to my mouth. I stare at the speckled foam in the bottom of the cup, which is shaking noticeably in my shaking hands, and pray that he doesnât sit down. I would love to hear his voice this close, love to ask him his name, butâŚ
âYou seemed to recognize what I was playing,â he says, sliding into a seat across from me.
The booth is protected, and his voice is low and husky, but thereâs no mistaking us for what we are.
I set down my cup and finally look into his eyes. âItâs one of my favorites. YouâŚyou have a beautiful voice. You did the song justice.â
âMy boss doesnât agree. He only lets me play.â He drops his gaze momentarily. âYou think I have a beautiful voice?â
     âIâve been spellbound.â
âI canât lie. That was my intention.â
âI was curious why you were playing to an empty bar.â
âThis bar has never been less empty.â He raises his eyebrows, smiles slightly and holds out his hand for me to shake. âIâm Blaine Anderson.â
âKurt,â I say, shaking his hand. âKurt Hummel.â
We stay touching for slightly too long and I notice something cold connect with my finger. I glance down at his hand. Heâs wearing a gold band around his fourth finger.
âI hope Iâm not keeping you from your family.â
âI donât have a family. I pickpocketed this so I could get this job. It stipulated that all applicants be married to avoidâŚahâŚartistic types.â
     âOh, yes. Artistic types.â
We smile at each other and I lean forward. I breathe his scent in deeply and my eyelids flutter.
âWhere did you learn to play like that?â I ask softly.
âMy mother,â he says. âThere was a piano in the basement of our apartment.â
     âWhere are you from?â
     âOhio.â
âReally? Me as well. I came here last year to work on my writing.â
âWhat do you like to write?â
âFiction. Novels. If I canât live in this worldâŚâ
ââŚyou might as well live in another. Thatâs what I do with my music.â He looks down and clears his throat. âKurt, IâŚâ He takes my hand. âIâve been watching you come here for a month. I just now got my nerve up to play in front of you.â
     âW-what?â
He grips my hand a little tighter. âYou are so beautiful. I justâŚI sit behind the counter and gaze at you whenever youâre here.â
Iâm unable to breathe. How can a man like this, this man with ink black hair and the scent of cologne tipping off his collar, have fallenâŚfallen in loveâŚwith me?
Warm liquor pours into my veins and I stare fiercely at him. Am IâŚhave IâŚfallen in loveâŚwith him?
He cautiously tucks my hair behind my ear. His touch sets my skin on fire. And then, slowly, experimentallyâŚhe presses his lips to mine in a kiss. For a second, I am too surprised and too blinded by pleasure to respond, but then I cup his face in my hand and kiss back. Â
His lips are as expert and gentle as his voice, and for a full minute, he lets me experience their texture and taste their sweetness. Then he slowly pulls back, eyes fused with my eyes, hands rubbing soft circles on my hands.
Neither of us speak for a moment, and then he whispers, âIâm sorry if you donât feel the sameââ
âNo,â I say quickly. âI do. I feel the same way.â
His lips part in surprise. âOh my God,â he murmurs, âI thoughtâŚI thought you would reject meâŚI wasnât even completely sure that youâŚI thoughtâŚIâŚâ
âTonight is the first time I ever saw you,â I whisper, âbut IâŚI felt you. I felt every word you sang and when you looked at meâŚâ
We lean close again, mouths brushing. I may never use the word impossible again. I may lock it out of my vocabulary even if this night produces nothing and vanishes away like morning fog.
âI wouldâŚI would like to know you better,â I tell him.
âI would like to know you better, too,â he replies, smiling. âI am in love with you, Mr. Hummel.â
Summary: Blaine, Kurtâs werewolf boyfriend, comes in after a rough full moon.
Kurt woke up fifteen minutes before sunrise. It was a habit on nights of the full moon. Blaine rarely went home after the full moon unless the pack ended up close to Westerville by sunrise. He didnât often let them, though.
Warning: Grossly cheesy, cliche, corny fluff ahead. I regret nothing.
What if a time where homophobia doesnât exist wasnât just a hope for our future, but its own plane of existence?
What if Kurt Hummel was tugged back and forth by kids at preschool because only he could ever remember all the rules to play tea party, or could say for sure which matchbox car would a real race; and he always made the best outfits for dress up, putting together pieces for different costumes and he he made up his own jokes, like a grown up?
What if when Noah Puckerman cornered him under the bleachers during a game of tag in third grade, he leaned in and kissed him? And when Noah leaped back, yelping, âDude! Cooties!â Kurt made his getaway, laughing hysterically at the moment of clear terror on Noahâs face before he was chasing after him again, grinning maniacally?
What if Burt Hummel never had to be afraid of asking his son how school was?
Sorry for the late post! This one took longer to write than I thought⌠Anyways, this one is inspired by a scene from a pretty good novel, âThree Little Wordsâ. It was one of the most hilarious part of the novel and I just canât help it but write a Klaine version of the scene XD

Hi! I suck at writing or drawing or any kind of thing that has to do with moving or thinking but I love these cuties more than my life and you had me at the Bonus.
I was a homophobe. Bam, I said it. My family is pretty much neutral, but my dad and his mom are really homophobic. So, what could a little girl do other than follow her role model aka daddy?
It felt weird, but the show itself had gotten my attention so my uncle let me borrow his Season 1 DVDs. I fell in love. Yeah, with Glee too. But I meant I fell in love with Kurt. I didn't want to accept it at first ("What's wrong with you? He's gay. Look, the other guys are cute too."), but one day I told mom I thought I liked Kurt. Well, not Kurt. Chris. Because what did I like about him? His face, his voice. Chris had that. I wouldn't fall for a gay guy. Thank god for Wikipedia and my priceless face as I read "Colfer is openly gay."
I accepted it a while later, but I hated Blaine (shh). According to mom, I was jealous, it could have been that. After watching the Concert and the first half of Season 2 in December, I started liking him. But of course, I didnât jump into OTPing at first. I couldnât even look at the Kliss (*mentally shoots past!me*). But later, I started shipping them, watched random chunks of fluffiness from internet (my uncle couldnât find the complete Season 2). Then he gave me both Season sets as a gift and I was officially a Klainer then.
It all started with Twitter. I typed in âGleeâ and started following random people. Most of them had tumblr so I decided to make one. Oh, before actually deciding it, I searched âKlaineâ on Google and found FanFiction aka best thing ever. I saw a lot of Omegle roleplays on tumblr so I tried that out. Also Chatzy.
I had made a lot of friends, better than the ones I have in real life, through this, and Klaine has literally opened my eyes to the world and to acceptance and besides them being flawless angels, I am forever thankful for what they have done.
I have other passions too, like Rocky Horror, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Les Mis, and LGBT community in general, plus some other movies and shows and stuff I like. Thought my dadâs family has no idea of anything.
I also find out Iâm bisexual, something I could have never thought of. I can proudly say my life is divided in âBefore Klaineâ and âAfter Klaine.â
(Yes, I could go on but I feel this is too long already :P)
