this is my continuation after my rewrite of secrets revealed.

it's finally done! yaya.

This is Pt 1-6, I combined all of the parts so you can read it in one place. This is basically my rewrite of the new continuation on netflix with isaval. i will post the next parts soon. i hope you guys enjoy!

“Whooo!”, said Isabel as she won the race. “That’s another point for me and River” — “Hey now, wait just a minute, we weren’t ready!”, said Rory while Storm was trying to catch her breath. Sophia, Ava, and Layla agreed but Isabel continued to brag. Just then they saw something in the air, “A school boat!” said Ava — “That must be Valentina”, said Sophia. “Finally a worthy opponent”, stated Isabel. Sophia just rolled her eyes. “Come on, River! Let’s go and welcome our rival”, said Isabel while smiling. Then River formed a water bubble and they floated up to the school boat. The rest of the Sapphires exchanged glances. “Guess Chapter 2 of Fire vs Water has begun”, stated Layla. They all laughed and started their way back to the school port.

In the air Isabel and River reach up to the boat. Isabel jumps off into the boat startling Valentina. Valentina looks back, “Isabel?” — “The one and only”, said Isabel proudly. River started his way down, leaving the competitors be. “Your hair, it’s different…” observed Valentina. “IKR! I thought I would try something new. And your hair Val it’s–”, suddenly the boat shook a little due to the wind. Valentina tumbled forward a little into Isabel. Isabel caught her and the pair just stood there for a minute. They looked at each other without any words said. Then Valentina realized Isabel had her hands around Val’s waist. Val’s face lit up like a red Christmas light and then she pulled away. Isabel, noticing what happened, also pulled away with rose tinted cheeks. Then Isabel turned away and looked at the school in the distance and said, “Now that school's starting, our competitions will be too huh?” She turned to face Valentina, who had her arms crossed and looked the other way. “Can’t wait to see the look on your face when I beat you like everytime~”, teased Isabel. Valentina scoffed, “As if! Me and Cinder are the ones who beat YOU two everytime.” — “Oh really, how about we ask Layla to show us the point tally book?” said Isabel in a long tone. Just then the boat landed and the rest of the Sapphires arrived at the port.

The Sapphires were again reunited at last. Suddenly Valentina pulled out a box. “I have a surprise!” The Sapphires watched as Valentina started to open up her box. Just as she was about to continue the school announcement was made, “All Unicorn Academy students report to the school’s front entrance.” Valentina put her box away. “Awww, come on! What’s inside?” whined Rory. “It’s a surprise!” Isabel said exaggeratedly. Rory rolled his eyes and the Sapphires started their way to the school’s front entrance. “Oh stop whining, this box isn't the only surprise” said Valentina while rolling her eyes. 

Then at the front entrance, Ms. Primrose welcomed the newcomers and announced the big event that was going to happen this year. “For the Solara Furi Festival we are excited to welcome… Serena Fur-” — “Just Serena”, interrupted the girl. — “Serena, world wide pop star! She will be performing at the festival this year. Give her a round of applause everyone”, announced Ms. Primrose. All the students cheered as they realized THE SERENA was at their school, especially this one particular student, LAYLA. “O-M-G! It’s Serena. I can’t believe it. This isn’t possible. How, when, wha- AHGJHDJBDSBA” — “Layla, calm down” said Isabel. Valentina butt in. “Actually her reaction is valid because my cousin is THE best pop star. Everybody knows her.” She then flipped her hair gracefully. “I didn’t until now.” stated Isabel. Layla looked at Isabel surprised, her jaw almost dropped down to the floor. “You didn’t know who she was?? And wait, your COUSIN??” shouted Layla. Then music started playing. Catchy beats and all sorts of lights. Serena started singing for her fans, then suddenly she stopped and shrieked, hitting THE highest note.

The Sapphires looked back. In horror, they saw Ravenzella. Ravenzella started attacking the school and this time she brought an even bigger friend. A huge snake dashed towards the students. The teachers commanded all the students to get in their dorms including the Sapphire heros. The Sapphires, being themselves, ignored the teachers’ words and charged at Ravenzella and her snake. The fight was short but still cool. Sophia protected her friends with Wildstar’s rainbow shield, Ava tied the snake down with Leaf’s vines, then Isabel and River trapped the snake in a bubble while Sophia and Ava fought Ravenzella. Just then Cinder came galloping to Valentina. The fiery duo sped up and set a circle ablaze around the snake, double trapping it. The bubble popped, allowing Layla and Glacier to time freeze the snake and having Rory finish off with a lightning strike, breaking the frozen snake into a million pieces. Ravenzella retreated but questionably was not angered. The sapphires just came back and were already saving the day.

Unfortunately due to this incident, Ms. Primrose had to implement a curfew at 6pm. The other students groaned and stared at the Sapphires with anger. Not the reaction the Sapphires hoped for but at least they saved the day. As they were in the midst of celebrating, Ms. Primrose ordered all of them to get their behavior straight or serious consequences would be implemented. The Sapphires, confused and angered by this, returned to the stables. Valentina entered a little later with a guest. Layla fainted at the sight of this guest. It was none other than Serena. “Oh-em-gee! You must be my baby cousin’s little friends! She told me all about you guys, especially a blonde named Isabel?” Isabel glanced at Valentina, surprised. “I wanted to thank you all for saving me!” — “Well Serena is tired from her travel so she needs rest”, said Valentina rushingly while escorting Serena out of the stables. 

Valentina enters back in with a flushed face and quickly shuffles to Cinder’s side to brush his mane. It’s quiet at the stable then Ava breaks the silence, “So that was your cousin. She seems really nice!” — “Of course she is! She’s the best pop star and person” stated Layla with pride. The stable filled with laughter. The Sapphires returned to their dorm and they all plopped down on the couch. They were all tired from the fight. Fighting a huge snake was a big deal despite them showing no sweat. 

“OH! Can you show what’s inside the box now??” asked Rory excitedly. “Ig…”, said Valentina, hiding her smile. The Sapphires gathered around her. Valentina opened the box and inside was a tiara. “Oh it’s just a tiara”, said Isabel with no excitement. “This is the tiara of Solara, the first ever unicorn rider!”, said Valentina strongly. Isabel squinted her eyes, observing the tiara “Eh looks normal.” Valentina just rolled her eyes at her. Ava took the tiara, feeling it. Then, Layla grabbed the tiara, inspecting it and referencing her sparkle book. Then Rory came in and swooped it, placing it on his head gracefully. “Look at me I’m Solara Furi”, he said in a high voice while batting his eyelashes and bowing with his imaginary dress. Sophia, Ava, and Isabel just laughed. Valentina swiped the tiara from Rory. “This is NOT a toy RORY!” said Valentina angrily and gave him the side eye. “Alr that’s enough tiara time for today. I need my beauty sleep.” and she made her way to her room. The rest of the Sapphires also head to their rooms.

In their room, while Ava is sound asleep, Sophia wasn’t. She keeps hearing a sound, a melody, that she heard when first looked at the tiara. She also had a vision and she couldn’t just sleep knowing there was something waiting to be discovered. Quietly, she made her way out of the dorm and into the stables. Her and Wildstar were back again with the sneaking out. She had to find out what that vision was. Back in another room, Isabel wasn’t able to sleep. She was thinking about what Serena said. Valentina talking about her? Probably describing the races she lost to Val, right? That’s when her stomach growled. “Ugh. I need food” Isabel got up carefully and walked downstairs to raid Rory’s secret stash of snacks under the couch. As she got off the last step, she heard something. Thinking it was an intruder, she jumped them with a blanket, covering their face. “Hah gotcha!” exclaimed Isabel. “Hey!” a voice called out. “Valentina?” asked Isabel while taking off the blanket. The two stared at each other, not realizing Isabel was on top of Valentina. Once they did realize they got up so fast, blushing. “Uh, what are you doing down here?” asked Valentina, breaking the awkwardness. “I was gonna get a snack,” said Isabel. “Wait, what about you? What are you doing down here?” asked Isa. “Uhm… I wasn’t sleepy so I thought I would get some air.” — “I thought you needed your beauty sleep?” asked Isa, raising an eyebrow. “Well I changed my mind. OK?” said Val. “OK, OK”, said Isa reassuringly.

Then Isabel walked up to the couch and lifted one of the mattresses. Underneath was a bunch of snacks. She took a bag of chips and started eating it. “How long has that been there?” asked Val, disgusted. “IDK, ask Rory. He lost a bet so he had to show me his secret stash.” said Isabel while munching on the chips. “Have you even checked if those are expired? You trying to get sick or what?” asked Val, irritated. She then grabbed the chips and inspected it. The chips were good, had a few more months. Isabel grabbed the bag back. “Gee thanks MOM”, she said exaggeratedly. Val rolled her eyes and went to the patio. Isabel followed.

“Uh why are you here?” asked Val. “Cuz I wanna”, replied Isa. Then the two girls went silent while looking out at the dark sky lit only by the stars. Valentina takes a deep breath and tries to relax but then she hears this agitating noise. It was Isabel munching on her chips. “Could you munch any louder?” asked Val, giving Isa the side eye. “Why yes, I can”, said Isabel and continued munching even louder. “Why? Is it annoying you sparky?~” — “UGH! ISABEL if you don’t stop chewing like a goat, I WILL tell Auntie about the secret stash!” threatened Val. “OK dude!” said Isa. She then walked back inside, quietly mimicking what Val had said. Valentina was left on the patio alone. “Finally some peace and quiet”, she sighed. Then out in the distance she saw a light. “Mendoza?” Val returned to her room, she will interrogate her the next morning. It was getting late and she actually needed her beauty sleep this time.

-THE NEXT MORNING-

Valentina gets ready and goes downstairs. “Where is Mendoza?” she said to herself quietly. She proceeded to class, ready to interrogate her there. Later, Val looked around for Sophia but only she wasn’t in class. Then Sophia entered and just when Val began to speak, the bell rang. She tried speaking again but Ms. Furi entered. Now Val has to wait until class is over if she wanted to find out what Sophia was doing last night after curfew. “Ok Sapphires, you will be taking the pre-test over Unicorn Academy Magic. Here are your papers and no talking. You may begin” — “PRE-test?? What kind of school gives pre-tests!?” whined Rory. “This school, Mr. Carmichael” said Ms. Furi strictly. Rory slowly looked down at his paper and frowned. That’s when Ghost appeared and gestured. “Huh, I’m called to the front office?” asked Ms. Furi. “Sapphires, I will have to step out for a few minutes. Valentina, you're in charge. Make sure no one is cheating or talking.” Valentina nodded. Then Ms. Furi stepped out. 

“OK Mendoza. What were you doing last night?” blurted Val as soon as her auntie left. “You won’t believe it. Look!” said Sophia excitedly. She presented a gemstone in a familiar shape. “That looks like…” started Ava. “A FAIRY GEMSTONE!” finished Valentina and Layla. Sophia handed it to Valentina. Everybody gathered around her like a group of ducklings. “I got this vision after you showed us the tiara. When I went to the place in my vision this really weird melody played. That’s how me and Wildstar found it. It also gave these sick powerups for her!” said Sophia. “If you found one… that means…” said Valentina slowly, still looking at the gemstone. “It means the others are around here too! If we can find them then…” said Layla as she quickly turned to Val. “We could banish Grimoria, just like Solaira Furi!” finished Val with a huge smile. “That’s great! Then we won’t have to experience any more hateful glances from the other students!” said Ava happily.“We’ll be heroes again!” shouted Isabel. “And we won’t have to do tests anymore!” claimed Rory standing on his chair. The girls looked at him. “Yeah no dude” said Isabel while shaking her head. Rory chuckled softly and got down. Then they heard footsteps. “Quick, back to your desks! Auntie is returning!” said Valentina rushingly. “Wait! What’s the answer to number 1?” asked panicked Rory. “SHHH!” shushed everyone. “Oh I’m cooked” said Rory quietly. Ms. Furi entered and looked around. “Everyone behaved, Valentina?” — “Yes Auntie”, said Val innocently.

Back at the dorm the Sapphires all sat down, inspecting the fairy gemstone. “Ok. Let’s do it.” said Val, determined. Sophia took the fairy gemstone and placed it on the tiara. Everyone waited for what was about to happen. -CLINK- The gemstone dropped onto the table. “Bruh”, said Rory. The girls looked disappointed. “Don’t worry girls, I’ll get the glue!” shouted Rory. “Rory! We are NOT gluing an ancient treasure!” said Layla. That’s when the gemstone played a melody. “It’s the same music I heard before", said Sophia. She picked it up and turned. The music played louder. Sophia turned the other way, the gemstone got quieter. Then she turned back. “It seems like the fairy gemstone is telling us where to go!” shouted Ava. Everyone followed Sophia in a line, like ducklings. Sophia suddenly stopped at the fireplace. Everybody bumped into her. “Here?” asked Sophia, in front of the fireplace. Val came forward and gently felt a groove on top of the fireplace. She analyzed it for a minute then placed the tiara on top. Suddenly the fireplace opened up. “Ahhh! A secret PASSAGE! What’s inside??” squealed Rory. “Only one way to find out”, said Sophia. She then slid down the fireplace. Ava and Rory followed. “Ew-uh what if it has bugs? My hair cannot get dirty!” said Val, taking a step back. “Too bad Val! If you want the other gemstones then down we go!” said Isabel, pushing Val down and sliding in after her. “Isaaabeeellll!” Valentina yelled while sliding down. “AHH! For magical discoveries!!” said Layla, sliding down at last.

At the bottom the Sapphires landed in a pile. “Whoo-hoo! Again!” yelled Ava, jumping up. “No!” said Val firmly, standing up quickly and patting herself down to get rid of all the dust. She then turned to Isabel, who was chuckling. “Oh I’ll get you back Isabel Armstrong” pouted Valentina. “Sure”, said Isabel gently, taking a dust ball off of Val’s hair. Val turned away so quickly. “Can you guys stop flirting and look here?” asked Rory. Val began to heat up. Her face and ears were fully red. “Wha- ugh WE WERE NOT!” she couldn’t even speak. Isabel just shook her head, smiling and followed Rory. The Sapphires started walking up a staircase. Then Rory pointed out to a bunch of drawings on the wall. “Look. I think it’s a story” said Rory. Valentina squinted and then gasped. “It is! My grandmama used to read me this story every night. It’s Solaira Furi, the first Unicorn rider!” (Imma just summarize this part. So, Valentina explains how Solaira crashed there and met Skywind. They were the first bond ever so the fatefairies gave Skywind powers and Solaira a tiara. Then Val explains how they banished Grimoria along with the first Grimorian queen. After, the fairy gemstones were scattered. Anyways continuing…) 

The Sapphires reached the top. Suddenly out of Sophia’s hand the gemstone started glowing. It flew out to the open space. The Sapphires followed. “What’s it doing?” asked Ava. Then strange markings appeared on the floor. “Ooooh hopscotch!” squealed Ava happily. “No wait. That looks like a map!” corrected Layla. “You’re right! Look, that’s Starglow Lake. That’s where I found the first gemstone.” said Sophia. The markings continued, connecting a path towards a different place. “A GHOST!” yelled Rory, jumping behind Isabel. “That’s a tree Rory”, said Isabel judgingly. “Hey, it still could be haunted. You’ll never know” said Rory quietly. Isabel rolled her eyes. “If that is Starglow lake then… this is the Whispering Willows!” shouted Valentina. “We are going, right?” asked Sophia. Everybody looked at Valentina, worried she might say no due to the curfew. “Uhm, yes? Even though I am an honorary student of Unicorn Academy I can still break the rules a little. Remember last time when I saved you all” said Valentina, flipping her hair. Sophia rolled her eyes. “Let’s do this Sapphires!” she yelled. Everyone cheered and made their way out through another secret passageway to the stables.

“Woah another SECRET PASSAGE!?” shouted Rory. “SHHH!” shushed Sophia. “It’s still after curfew.” The Sapphires mounted their unicorns and Sophia power-uped Wildstar, impressing everyone. They began riding to the Whispering Willows.

— BACK AT THE ACADEMY —

There was an attack on the academy. Grim magic and the weird creatures (goblins?). “Make sure all students are accounted for!” ordered Ms. Primrose. All dorms were good except for one, the Sapphire dorm obviously. Ms. Primrose, disappointed by their behavior again, went out with the teachers to find the Sapphires. “Once we find them, it’s detention… again”, said Ms. Furi, annoyed. The Sapphires reach the Whispering Willows. “Woah! These trees look so magical in the moonlight!” said Ava in astonishment. “So where is the next gemstone?” asked Val impatiently. There was only the sound of wind. “Maybe we went to the wrong place?” asked Rory, starting to turn back. Then a whisper came through. The voice, so soft, said “The Fairy Gemstones know your heart. You are all chosen to reunite them.” Everyone turned around. “You all heard that right?” asked Rory, clinging onto Storm. Then the music played, leading them to the next gemstone. Everyone split up trying to find the location though the echoing forest.

“Hey! Over here” yelled Ava. “Leaf found something.” They stood in front of a tree. “Ava, we’re looking for a gemstone not a tree.” said Val, unimpressed. Then the trees in that area started glowing and revealed the gemstone in the tree. Nearby, the teachers noticed this glowing. “There! Fan out and find them!” ordered Ms. Primrose. The teachers started calling out for the students. The Sapphires panicked, they needed to get out of there. “Oh no! The teachers are here!” shouted Layla. “We need to go now!” yelled Isabel. “Not without the gemstone! Leaf?” asked Ava. Meanwhile the teachers were moving closer and closer, yelling out their names, which increased the pressure for the Sapphires. Finally, Leaf got the gemstone out. It flew in the air and Valentina tried reaching out for it but it dashed towards Ava. Leaf had the gemstone now. Magical Unicorn Transformation “Woah Leaf! So Pretty!!” said Ava, stroking Leaf’s mane. Valentina looked a little upset but that emotion had to be put off, the teachers were nearby. “Amazing Leaf but we need to go”, said Sophia. She didn’t want her friends getting in trouble again. 

As they were returning back they got caught by Ms. Furi. “Auntie!” said Val. “I’m so glad you’re here!” Val signals Sophia and Ava to power down the gemstones. “We were just-” — “Helping me find Encore.” Serena butted in. “Serena?” asked Ms. Furi. “Yes auntie. Encore wandered off a little and I asked Valentina and her friends to help me search for him. Also before you start. They were under my adult supervision so you don’t have to worry. They didn’t get into any trouble.” said Serena, giving Ms. Furi a huge smile. Ms. Furi paused for a moment and sighed. “Ok then… but this doesn’t mean that there won’t be a consequence in the morning Sapphires” ,she said as she started to leave. The Sapphires looked at Serena in confusion. “What? I’m just covering for my cousin and her friends”, said Serena with a smile and then left. Layla was in awe, her idol covering for them! The rest of the Sapphires shrugged it off except Sophia. Then they started their way back.

The next day at lunch many of the other students gave hateful glances towards the Sapphires. After all, they're the reason the others have a curfew. As Val was picking her lunch she sees Delia and Jacinta. She waves and Jacinta waves back but soon is dragged away by Delia. Val is upset that even Delia and Jacinta joined the hate train. Val arrives at the lunch table and slams her tray down. The rest of the Sapphires look at her in terror. “Oh we are DEFINITELY getting all the gemstones and BANISHING Grimoria”, she said sternly. After lunch they return to their secret passage and find out where they’re going next. “Prism Beach”, said Valentina with determination. As they were about to get their unicorns, Ms. Furi stops them. “Ahem! I believe it is time for your consequence?” she said, raising an eyebrow. “You will be cleaning up the school garden and perfecting any plants” she said. “OMG, yay! I love plants!” said Ava, giggling. “Guys we are gonna have so much funnnn!” — “Ms. Banji, this is to reprimand you all for your actions”, said Ms. Furi, confused. “Oh right”, said Ava, making a serious face but slowly started smiling. Ms. Furi sighs, “Ava is in charge”, she says and leaves. “Alright Sapphires, you heard what Ms. Furi said. Get to work!”, Ava commands in a serious voice. “Yes ma’am!” shouted Rory and Isabel. 

Valentina does the work in anger and disgust, she wants to find her gemstone immediately. Sophia tries to ignore her, she doesn’t want to feel her wrath. Layla is explaining about the medical properties of the plants in the school garden to Isabel but Isa is just daydreaming about what would be faster. 10 burpees or 20 pushups. Meanwhile Rory tried eating berry bombs but spat it out when Ava warned him what they were. Then Serena walks by. “Heyyy cousin!” , she extends her words. Valentina got an idea but she needed to get out of Sophia's sight first. “Serena! I need to talk to you.” Val says as she pulls her aside. “So basically… you know Solaira Furi’s tiara? Well… me and my friends found 2 of the fairy gemstones! And we’re planning to banish Grimoria with it but we can’t go now because… well of THIS.” Valentina said as she pointed at the garden. Serena looked at her in shock, like THE tiara, the fairy GEMSTONES? “Cousin! Thi- this is amazing! You NEED to get the other gemstones. Come on, let’s go!” Valentina stops her, “I can’t… my friends. Ugh. we need to do things together, you know… teamwork?” says Valentina with a bored expression. Serena looks at her, “alright then I got you!”

The Sapphires look back at themselves working in the garden and then at Serena on the balcony. Serena had made duplicates so no one would notice the Sapphires are missing. Valentina mouthed a thank you and went on her way. Serena smiled but as soon as the Sapphires left, she burst out. “How DARE grandmama give Valentina the Fairy tiara and not ME!” Encore looked scared. Serena composed herself and sighed, “I’ll let THEM do all the work and take the prize for myself in the end. Ravenzella can have this… dump. I’ll rule the WORLD”, she grinned.

— AT PRISM BEACH —

“Quick look around!” commanded Valentina. They followed the music. “Ahoy! Secret sea cave ahead!” called out Rory. Everyone rushed to him. The music seemed to be coming that way. Valentina enters in quickly, she is desperate for a gemstone. The others followed but were interrupted by rockodiles. “AHHH!” screamed Layla and Rory. The Sapphires had to fight these things off so Val was on her own now. Valentina looked back. “Ugh, cowards”, not knowing what was happening she rolled her eyes. As Val ventures deeper, outside the Sapphires are trying everything to push the rockodiles back. “Glacier, freeze!” yelled Layla. The rockodile was frozen but broke out in a matter of seconds. Ava tries tying them up with Leaf’s vines but it’s no hope. Then she pulls something out of her pockets. “Berry Bombs!” yelled Ava and started throwing them at the rockodiles. She passed some to her friends. Unfortunately, Isabel notices something, the tide is coming in. She needs to save Valentina. The others got the rockodiles covered.

Deep inside the sea cave Val and cinder search for the stone. Cinder digs something. “What is it boy?” Val asks. Cinder neighs loudly. Valentina approaches him. “A fairy gemstone!” she yells in happiness. Val tries to dig it out but it just wouldn’t come out. Cinder neighs again but this time it wasn’t for a good reason. Valentina looks down, water has started to flow in the cave. “AHHH! HELP! SOMEONE!” she yells. Cinder panics but Val calms down and reassures him. “It’s ok boy, I’m here for you”, she says gently despite being scared herself. Then something started bubbling under the water. It was Isabel. “Isabel!” shouted Valentina. Val was happy to see her. “Val get in the bubble! We need to get out!” yelled Isabel in concern. Valentina stopped, “I can’t! I need to get the fairy gemstone.” — “That doesn’t matter! Your safety is the only concern” shouted back Isabel. Cinder got in the bubble but Valentina wasn’t listening. She tried digging through the rocks as the water was rising and as her once perfect nails were being scratched. Isabel jumped to Val and grabbed her. “I said your safety is my only concern!” Isa being stronger than Valentina brought her in the bubble easily and they escaped. “No”, said Val quietly, not taking her eyes off the stone. The two made it out. The others defeated the rockodiles and rushed to the pair once they saw them.

“No, I was so close”, says Val in defeat. Isabel holds her hand and looks at Val compassionately, “It wasn’t worth you.” — “Wait, Look!” shouted Layla, pointing to the gemstone floating towards them. Valentina’s face lit up. She stood up trying to grab it but it went past her, to River. Valentina looked VERY unhappy. She turned away. Usually Isabel would celebrate and tease Val but this time she pet River and went up to Valentina. “Hey, it’s fine. There are 6 gemstones. One for each of us.” Isabel said in an attempt to comfort Val. “Easy to say when you’ve got one”, replied Val coldly, not looking at Isabel. Isabel stepped back. She protected Valentina and this is the response she gets? Isabel is a little hurt but she doesn’t show it. The Sapphires head back and swap in with their duplicates, without anyone noticing. They work on the garden until they are allowed to head back to their dorm. The atmosphere among them is awkward, especially between Isabel and Valentina and no one dares to speak up.

The next day they go check out where the next gemstone is. “Ugh, hurry up!”, urged Valentina. The map began to grow. “Look, that's the school!” Ava pointed out. “How are we supposed to find the gemstone? There are so many secret rooms!” Rory said defeated. “It doesn’t matter. We’ll split up and cover more ground”, said Val as she started turning back. But before they start searching they need to head to class. “Alright students, you will be having a game of Sneaky Snookers!” announced Ms. Wildwood. “Sapphire dorm vs the Ruby dorm. Once you retrieve a point and return it into the goal it will turn blue for the Sapphires and red for the Rubies. Whoever gets the most points wins! And remember you can use your magic, just not on eachother.” — “Why are playing a game when there is Grim magic on the loose?” asked Val, impatient to start searching for the gemstone. “This ain't just a game, Valentina. This will prepare you all to defend and increase your stamina when grim magic decides to show up”, replied Ms. Wildwood sternly. Valentina looked down and frowned. If she had to do this then she might as well win. Maybe it will cool off some steam. Everyone started lining up. “On your marks… get set… Go!” shouted Ms. Wildwood. Everybody was off.

“Ok if we just follow this method… Oh! And this one too…” Layla looked up from her book. Everybody was already gone. “Come on Layla!” shouted Rory from a distance. Glacier neighed and started galloping. The Sapphires were doing well until something hit them, causing them to lose the point. “Hey what was that?” yelled Isabel. “The Rubies. They’re cheating!” yelled Sophia angrily. “Oops my bad” , chuckled the opponent while riding away. “This isn’t fair!” said Ava. “UGH, split up! Everybody focus on one point each. Let’s see how they deal with that” Valentina commanded. The Sapphires did as they were told but again the Rubies got the point by using their magic on the Sapphires. And again and again. “The game goes to the Rubies!” shouted Ms. Wildwood, cutting the game short as she was called to the front office. The Sapphires return to their dorm in defeat as the Rubies taunt them.

“Ugh I can’t believe we lost to a bunch of cheaters!”, said Isabel, sinking into the couch. Rory plopped and laid flat on the ground sadly. Just then Sophia, Ava, Valentina, and Layla burst into the dorm. Just a few minutes ago they went out to find the next gemstone and judging on how Val’s face looked, they probably did. “So did you guys find it?”  asked Isabel, glancing at Val. Isabel smiled a little trying to go past the incident at the beach. Val looked at Isabel too but couldn’t get the words out. Valentina had thought about how she acted towards Isabel on the beach. She was impatient for her gemstone but maybe acting coldly towards Isabel wasn’t needed. She wanted to apologize but her ego got in the way. A Furi, apologizing? “Yes, but the Rubies have it” replied Sophia for Valentina. “And we need to earn it”, said Layla. “Valentina challenged the Rubies. If we win a game of Sneaky Snookers, we can have the lamp where the gemstone is. But if we lose… we have to clean their stables for a week”, finished Ava quietly, chuckling awkwardly. 

The Sapphires met the Rubies at the ground. “You ready to lose?” asked Delia, grinning. “Oh just you wait”, said Val staring right at her. Before they started the timer, Valentina turned around to her friends. “Remember what I said.” Before the game started Layla and Valentina ran into Serena and they explained the situation to her. Serena suggested that they cheat. Cheating against cheaters isn’t wrong, she claimed. Layla slowly agreed and the two went back to their dorm and explained to the rest. Sophia still wasn’t ok with Serena knowing stuff about the fairy gemstones but didn’t say anything because there wasn’t really anything that they could do against cheaters. And also because Val would crash out if she said anything about not trusting Serena. The others agreed to the plan but with guilt. Coming back to the present, the two dorms lined up ready to start. The timer started and they were off. 

The Ruby dorm as expected cheated again but this time the Sapphires did the same thing. It was a tough fight and each were pushing each other to their limits. It wasn’t until Jacinta almost fell off a hill. Layla had Glacier time freezed her so she wouldn’t get hurt. After this, Layla refused to cheat. Cheating only put them in danger. Valentina was furious but had to follow because if anything happened to the other dorm, teachers would question and the plan of banishing Grimoria would long gone. The Sapphires decided not to cheat and through hard work and determination they won. The Sapphires cheered and the Rubies ignored them and left. They only lost some random lamp after all.

Back at the Sapphire stable they gathered around the gemstone. It flew up straight to Valentina then turned hard left, towards Layla, like a waiter at a restaurant. Valentina looked at her and Glacier as they powered up. Valentina was done but she couldn’t get awkward between another friend. She congratulated Layla quietly and returned back to the dorm alone. “Don’t worry I’ll go check on her”, said Isabel running after her. Valentina is not one who opens up about her feelings but maybe Isabel has a shot to figure out what’s going on. So far it just looks like Valentina is jealous of her friends getting their gemstones and not her. The rest of the Sapphires decided to stay at the stable to let the two be alone for a while. After all Isabel was kind of the only one who was close with Val. 

At the dorm, Valentina was in her bed with the blanket covering herself. Isabel stood in front of her door and took a deep breath and exhaled out through her mouth. She then knocked. “It’s me Isabel.” Val opened her eyes. Why was Isabel here? Valentina didn’t reply, hoping Isabel thought she would be sleeping. Isabel tried to see if the door was locked, it was. So she sat down by the door. “I don’t know if you’re asleep or pretending to be. I just wanted to say… you need to stop acting like a big baby”, she said bluntly. Val sat up, about to say something but didn’t. She folded her arms and pouted. After hearing the sound of rustling, Isabel confirmed that Val was awake but pretended not to acknowledge it. “If you’re awake I know you’re probably fuming right now. But I’m being serious. Everybody wants to banish Grimoria too, not just you. And remember even if you happen to get your gemstone last, you’re still important. So don’t be worrying about what your grandmama or Serena thinks. We know that you’re the best.” Val looked down and fidgeted with her hands. She was being a big baby and most importantly she was being rude to her friends. Then she heard Isabel stand up. “Well…the best after me, of course”, said Isabel, teasing her. Then walked downstairs where everyone happened to be waiting quietly. Isabel showed a thumbs up.

The next day there was no school so the Sapphires went to check out the next location. Everyone except Valentina. “Isabel, where's Valentina?” asked Layla. “I don’t know. She wasn’t in her room when I woke up” replied Isabel in a worried tone. Valentina wakes up early but Isabel always beats her to it. So where could she have gone? The Sapphires got the next location, Mount Equis. They made their way to the stables then suddenly a fireball came flying towards them. They all ducked. “What was that!?” exclaimed Ava. It came from Cinder’s stall. They all gathered around and peered in. Another fireball shot out, they all ducked. “Woah Cinder you don’t look so good”, said Sophia, taking a step back. That’s when they heard another sound, a loud sneeze. Valentina popped up, all covered in hay. The Sapphires were shocked to see her here, looking so… un-Furi.

“Woah Valentina, you got a little something there”, pointed Rory, chuckling. Valentina gave him a death glare. She then sneezed again. “Did you sleep here?” asked Isabel, examining her face. Valentina sneezed again, “Uh no”, she lied. But no one believed her. “You’re sick. You and Cinder. I’ve read about this. It’s called Cornicove fever. When a rider has a strong enough bond with their unicorn, they can experience the same symptoms like when getting sick”, Layla said, referencing her book. “Well that’s too bad. I guess you have to stay here Valentina. We’re going to Mount Equis and you’re too sick to come. Rest up and get better soon”, said Sophia quickly, while walking towards Wildstar. “What! I’m coming too. And no one can stop me”, said Val. 

Valentina went to her saddle, trying to pick it up. After a few failed attempts she finally did only to fall to the floor after sneezing again. “Yeah this isn’t gonna work out”, said Isabel walking away from River. “Listen, since I already have my fairy gemstone I’ll look after Valentina. You guys go.” The rest nodded and made their way out. “Isabel you better get on River because I am fine. Let’s catch up to them”, said Val and then proceeded to give a loud crunchy ahh cough. “Yeah no. River make sure Cinder is comfortable”, Isabel replied. She then took Valentina’s hand to help her get up. Valentina could barely stand still, her legs were so wobbly. Yeah it was sad to see but Isabel couldn’t help but compare her to a new born kitten. “Why are you looking at me like that?”, asked Valentina after seeing Isabel stare at her while smiling. “Nothing”, she then wrapped her arms around Val’s waist to give her support. Valentina’s face turned full red and she tried to fight back. “Ugh let me go! I can walk by myself” screeched Valentina. “I either help you to the dorm like this or I will carry you”, Isabel said looking straight at her. Valentina paused. Isabel carrying her? No no that cannot happen. Not wanting people to see, she finally gave in and Isabel helped her all the way to the dorm. 

At the dorm, Isabel tucked Valentina in her bed. Valentina's face was so red but it was not all because she was sick. “Your face is really red. Oh I know I’ll go make tea!” said Isabel. She then dashed out. Valentina was left alone. She sighed. Last night she felt really guilty about how she acted towards her friends before so to loosen herself up she went to the stables to talk to Cinder. She could open up to Cinder about anything. But when she regretted more and more stuff she got sick. She didn’t realize until she looked in the mirror right now, she really was sick. Then suddenly a voice called out. “Cousin!”

It was Serena. Valentina got up and turned around. Serena took one look at her and reacted like she saw a dog eat up its own vomit. “Cousin your face… it’s really unpresentable” Val tried to fix herself up the best she could. Serena dusted off the tissues laying the bed and sat next to her. “So what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be finding the next fairy gemstone?” — “Yes, but I’m sick so they made me stay back”, Val said while looking down. “Isabel is taking care of me”, she continued, blushing a little. “Did Sophie suggest that you stay back?” asked Serena. Valentina looked at her, “It’s Sophia but yeah…” — “Cousin, I- no I shouldn’t but actually I should”, said Serena, getting up walking the other way. Valentina watched her, “What is it?” — “Well don’t you think Sophia is trying to steal the spotlight a little? I mean, think about it. She did bring Grimoria back so to get on everyone’s good side again she’s doing a bit much. She’s kind of worrying about herself only.” — “Well we all want to banish Grimoria”, said Val, still looking at her. “Yeah but if she was really thinking about all of you guys. Wouldn’t she have waited until you were at least good enough to ride? Grandmama would really congratulate her if she really did banish Grimoria.” Valentina looked down and processed this. “Ugh! Of course she would do something like that. Mendoza, always rushing in, to take in the credit.” — “I’m glad you understand cousin. We’re Furis, we are the heroes. So make sure you’re the one with the tiara and the gemstones.” Serena finished and then left.

Isabel came in with some tea. “I’m baaack~” chirped Isabel. She saw Valentina, who had gotten up and was struggling to put on her jacket. “Uh, what are you doing?” asked Isabel, putting aside the tea. “I’m going to Mount Equis. To find the gemstone”, Val said while slurring her words. She then sneezed so strongly that she fell down. Isabel walked up to her and took her jacket away. “Hey!” yelled Val. Then she scooped up Val in her arms. “You are not going anywhere. Is that clear?” said Isabel sternly while looking at Val. Valentina didn’t try to squirm her way out of Isabel’s hands, it actually felt quite nice. Isabel walked over and tucked her in again. Then she laid beside her. 

“I know how it feels to get benched but it is to make sure you’re up and ready for the next game”, said Isabel, placing a hand on Val’s shoulder. Valentina noticed how close Isabel was next to her and she blushed. “Oh you’re turning red again. Here’s your tea”, said Isabel, blowing on it to cool it down before handing it to her. Valentina got up and drank it while Isabel looked at her, with those puppy eyes. At least for Isabel she drank. “So how is it?” asked Isabel. “It tastes nice, I guess”, replied Val. Isabel jumped out of the bed. “Whoo! The honorable Valentina Furi has approved my tea. I am so blessed!” yelled Isabel, pumping her arms up. Valentina chuckled at her behavior. That’s what Isabel wanted to see, Val smiling again. 

After she finished the tea, Isabel insisted she drink some more. So she left to make another batch. Valentina got up and put her jacket on again. Thanks to Isabel’s tea she got at least some strength to walk. “Sorry Iz but I need to do this.” She then made her way to the stables while sniffling. River was asleep so Val quietly took Cinder out. They started their way to Mount Equis. Isabel made her tea faster this time to get back to Val as soon as possible. Once she entered Val’s room she was gone. Isabel put aside the tea. “Eh, I should've expected this.” Back to Cinder and Val. As they were riding, Cinder’s magic went haywire again. And soon enough they were trapped by fire. Val tried to put it out but nothing worked. “Valentina!” shouted Isabel. Her and River had caught up to them. River put out the fires with his water magic saving Val and Cinder. Isabel got off and ran to Val. She put her hands on Val’s shoulders and turned her left and right to check if she had been hurt. “Isabel, I’m sorry. The fire it- spread. I couldn’t-” Isabel hugged Val after confirming she was ok.

Cinder looked at his rider. He had put her in danger and in guilt he galloped away. Valentina pulled away from the hug, “Cinder? CINDER!” Isabel grabbed her and helped her on River. They both followed Cinder. Once they caught up to him, Val walked closer. “Cinder it’s ok, it wasn’t your fault.” Cinder neighed loudly backing away. Then River nudged Val a little and approached Cinder. He lightly set out the fires made by Cinder’s steps and laid his head on Cinder’s back, cooling him off. River had calmed him down. Valentina sighed then broke out into tears. She rushed to Isabel and hugged her. “Isabel I- I’m sorry. I should have just listened to you but I was too-” — “Hey calm down, it’s alright. I’m here”, interrupted Isabel gently, while stroking Val’s hair. Isabel tightened the hug and Val eased into it. They were like that for a few seconds till Val retracted, wiping her tears. “All better?” asked Isabel, taking her hands. “Yes”, replied Val, looking into Isabel’s eyes. “I know what might help you”, said Isabel, helping her onto Cinder. “It better not be tea”, said Val, chuckling. “Hey, I thought you liked it”, said Isabel giggling. “But no.”

After a few minutes Val's nose and throat has already cleared up. “So you wanna tell me why you were sleeping in the stable, then how you got sick, and why you decided to go to Mt. Valentina explained the entire situation, how she needed to talk to Cinder since she can talk freely with him, feeling so guilty that she got sick, and how Sophia might be stealing the spotlight. “Sophia? Really? I know it’s Mendoza vs Furi but come on Sophia wouldn’t do anything like that. Serena is being overdramatic. Also Cinder isn't the only one you can talk to, I’m here too”, said Isabel as she took Val’s hand and gazed into her eyes affectionately. Valentina blushed and looked away. “Uh oh, you’re turning red again. Is your sickness returning?” asked Isabel, moving her hand to cup Isabel’s cheek then turning her to face her. They locked eyes for a moment and then something came over Valentina. She moved in and sealed a kiss on Isabel. She retracted, then realizing what she just did, her face got so red. Isabel looked at her with her mouth wide open. What did Valentina do? “OMG I- I-” , stuttered Val. But before she could continue, Isabel moved in and kissed Valentina back.

Finally you kissed Valentina Furi!” Valentina looked at Isabel celebrating. Even though Valentina started liking Isabel in summer, Isabel had liked her ever since the Fairy Moon Ball. Then Isabel took Valentina’s hands and lifted her up, spinning her around and pulling her in for a hug. Then Isabel kissed Val on the cheek. “So we’re together together now?” she asked, grinning widely. “Yes, but I want to wait till we tell the others”, said Valentina softly. “Sure, when you’re ready we’ll tell them”, assured Isabel. Then she wrapped her arms around Val’s waist and Val wrapped hers around Isabel’s neck. The two just shared a moment, blushing. Isabel, happy that she unlocked the Valentina Furi girlfriend achievement. Valentina, happy that she was able to express her feelings and have them returned. Then they heard noises approaching. The two pulled away quickly. The other Sapphires had found them. “Wow, Val! Looks like you’re feeling better!” exclaimed Ava. Rory butted in. “Look what we fooouund!” he said, showing off Storm. They got the gemstone. Valentina felt a little sad but looked at Isabel, maybe she could be sad later. The Sapphires started to return to their dorm. Val and Isabel slowly rode together all the way back, holding hands.

The next day they go check out where the next gemstone is. “Ugh, hurry up!”, urged Valentina. The map began to grow. “Look, that's the school!” Ava pointed out. “How are we supposed to find the gemstone? There are so many secret rooms!” Rory said defeated. “It doesn’t matter. We’ll split up and cover more ground”, said Val as she started turning back. But before they start searching they need to head to class. “Alright students, you will be having a game of Sneaky Snookers!” announced Ms. Wildwood. “Sapphire dorm vs the Ruby dorm. Once you retrieve a point and return it into the goal it will turn blue for the Sapphires and red for the Rubies. Whoever gets the most points wins! And remember you can use your magic, just not on eachother.” — “Why are playing a game when there is Grim magic on the loose?” asked Val, impatient to start searching for the gemstone. “This ain't just a game, Valentina. This will prepare you all to defend and increase your stamina when grim magic decides to show up”, replied Ms. Wildwood sternly. Valentina looked down and frowned. If she had to do this then she might as well win. Maybe it will cool off some steam. Everyone started lining up. “On your marks… get set… Go!” shouted Ms. Wildwood. Everybody was off.

“Ok if we just follow this method… Oh! And this one too…” Layla looked up from her book. Everybody was already gone. “Come on Layla!” shouted Rory from a distance. Glacier neighed and started galloping. The Sapphires were doing well until something hit them, causing them to lose the point. “Hey what was that?” yelled Isabel. “The Rubies. They’re cheating!” yelled Sophia angrily. “Oops my bad” , chuckled the opponent while riding away. “This isn’t fair!” said Ava. “UGH, split up! Everybody focus on one point each. Let’s see how they deal with that” Valentina commanded. The Sapphires did as they were told but again the Rubies got the point by using their magic on the Sapphires. And again and again. “The game goes to the Rubies!” shouted Ms. Wildwood, cutting the game short as she was called to the front office. The Sapphires return to their dorm in defeat as the Rubies taunt them.

“Ugh I can’t believe we lost to a bunch of cheaters!”, said Isabel, sinking into the couch. Rory plopped and laid flat on the ground sadly. Just then Sophia, Ava, Valentina, and Layla burst into the dorm. Just a few minutes ago they went out to find the next gemstone and judging on how Val’s face looked, they probably did. “So did you guys find it?”  asked Isabel, glancing at Val. Isabel smiled a little trying to go past the incident at the beach. Val looked at Isabel too but couldn’t get the words out. Valentina had thought about how she acted towards Isabel on the beach. She was impatient for her gemstone but maybe acting coldly towards Isabel wasn’t needed. She wanted to apologize but her ego got in the way. A Furi, apologizing? “Yes, but the Rubies have it” replied Sophia for Valentina. “And we need to earn it”, said Layla. “Valentina challenged the Rubies. If we win a game of Sneaky Snookers, we can have the lamp where the gemstone is. But if we lose… we have to clean their stables for a week”, finished Ava quietly, chuckling awkwardly. 

The Sapphires met the Rubies at the ground. “You ready to lose?” asked Delia, grinning. “Oh just you wait”, said Val staring right at her. Before they started the timer, Valentina turned around to her friends. “Remember what I said.” Before the game started Layla and Valentina ran into Serena and they explained the situation to her. Serena suggested that they cheat. Cheating against cheaters isn’t wrong, she claimed. Layla slowly agreed and the two went back to their dorm and explained to the rest. Sophia still wasn’t ok with Serena knowing stuff about the fairy gemstones but didn’t say anything because there wasn’t really anything that they could do against cheaters. And also because Val would crash out if she said anything about not trusting Serena. The others agreed to the plan but with guilt. Coming back to the present, the two dorms lined up ready to start. The timer started and they were off. 

The Ruby dorm as expected cheated again but this time the Sapphires did the same thing. It was a tough fight and each were pushing each other to their limits. It wasn’t until Jacinta almost fell off a hill. Layla had Glacier time freezed her so she wouldn’t get hurt. After this, Layla refused to cheat. Cheating only put them in danger. Valentina was furious but had to follow because if anything happened to the other dorm, teachers would question and the plan of banishing Grimoria would long gone. The Sapphires decided not to cheat and through hard work and determination they won. The Sapphires cheered and the Rubies ignored them and left. They only lost some random lamp after all.

Back at the Sapphire stable they gathered around the gemstone. It flew up straight to Valentina then turned hard left, towards Layla, like a waiter at a restaurant. Valentina looked at her and Glacier as they powered up. Valentina was done but she couldn’t get awkward between another friend. She congratulated Layla quietly and returned back to the dorm alone. “Don’t worry I’ll go check on her”, said Isabel running after her. Valentina is not one who opens up about her feelings but maybe Isabel has a shot to figure out what’s going on. So far it just looks like Valentina is jealous of her friends getting their gemstones and not her. The rest of the Sapphires decided to stay at the stable to let the two be alone for a while. After all Isabel was kind of the only one who was close with Val. 

At the dorm, Valentina was in her bed with the blanket covering herself. Isabel stood in front of her door and took a deep breath and exhaled out through her mouth. She then knocked. “It’s me Isabel.” Val opened her eyes. Why was Isabel here? Valentina didn’t reply, hoping Isabel thought she would be sleeping. Isabel tried to see if the door was locked, it was. So she sat down by the door. “I don’t know if you’re asleep or pretending to be. I just wanted to say… you need to stop acting like a big baby”, she said bluntly. Val sat up, about to say something but didn’t. She folded her arms and pouted. After hearing the sound of rustling, Isabel confirmed that Val was awake but pretended not to acknowledge it. “If you’re awake I know you’re probably fuming right now. But I’m being serious. Everybody wants to banish Grimoria too, not just you. And remember even if you happen to get your gemstone last, you’re still important. So don’t be worrying about what your grandmama or Serena thinks. We know that you’re the best.” Val looked down and fidgeted with her hands. She was being a big baby and most importantly she was being rude to her friends. Then she heard Isabel stand up. “Well…the best after me, of course”, said Isabel, teasing her. Then walked downstairs where everyone happened to be waiting quietly. Isabel showed a thumbs up.

As they were returning back they got caught by Ms. Furi. “Auntie!” said Val. “I’m so glad you’re here!” Val signals Sophia and Ava to power down the gemstones. “We were just-” — “Helping me find Encore.” Serena butted in. “Serena?” asked Ms. Furi. “Yes auntie. Encore wandered off a little and I asked Valentina and her friends to help me search for him. Also before you start. They were under my adult supervision so you don’t have to worry. They didn’t get into any trouble.” said Serena, giving Ms. Furi a huge smile. Ms. Furi paused for a moment and sighed. “Ok then… but this doesn’t mean that there won’t be a consequence in the morning Sapphires” ,she said as she started to leave. The Sapphires looked at Serena in confusion. “What? I’m just covering for my cousin and her friends”, said Serena with a smile and then left. Layla was in awe, her idol covering for them! The rest of the Sapphires shrugged it off except Sophia. Then they started their way back.

The next day at lunch many of the other students gave hateful glances towards the Sapphires. After all, they're the reason the others have a curfew. As Val was picking her lunch she sees Delia and Jacinta. She waves and Jacinta waves back but soon is dragged away by Delia. Val is upset that even Delia and Jacinta joined the hate train. Val arrives at the lunch table and slams her tray down. The rest of the Sapphires look at her in terror. “Oh we are DEFINITELY getting all the gemstones and BANISHING Grimoria”, she said sternly. After lunch they return to their secret passage and find out where they’re going next. “Prism Beach”, said Valentina with determination. As they were about to get their unicorns, Ms. Furi stops them. “Ahem! I believe it is time for your consequence?” she said, raising an eyebrow. “You will be cleaning up the school garden and perfecting any plants” she said. “OMG, yay! I love plants!” said Ava, giggling. “Guys we are gonna have so much funnnn!” — “Ms. Banji, this is to reprimand you all for your actions” said Ms. Furi, confused. “Oh right”, said Ava, making a serious face but slowly started smiling. Ms. Furi sighs, “Ava is in charge”, she says and leaves. “Alright Sapphires, you heard what Ms. Furi said. Get to work!”, Ava commands in a serious voice. “Yes ma’am!” shouted Rory and Isabel. 

Valentina does the work in anger and disgust, she wants to find her gemstone immediately. Sophia tries to ignore her, she doesn’t want to feel her wrath. Layla is explaining about the medical properties of the plants in the school garden to Isabel but Isa is just daydreaming about what would be faster. 10 burpees or 20 pushups. Meanwhile Rory tried eating berry bombs but spat it out when Ava warned him what they were. Then Serena walks by. “Heyyy cousin!” , she extends her words. Valentina got an idea but she needed to get out of Sophia's sight first. “Serena! I need to talk to you.” Val says as she pulls her aside. “So basically… you know Solaira Furi’s tiara? Well… me and my friends found 2 of the fairy gemstones! And we’re planning to banish Grimoria with it but we can’t go now because… well of THIS.” Valentina said as she pointed at the garden. Serena looked at her in shock, like THE tiara, the fairy GEMSTONES? “Cousin! Thi- this is amazing! You NEED to get the other gemstones. Come on, let’s go!” Valentina stops her, “I can’t… my friends. Ugh. we need to do things together, you know… teamwork?” says Valentina with a bored expression. Serena looks at her, “alright then I got you!”

The Sapphires look back at themselves working in the garden and then at Serena on the balcony. Serena had made duplicates so no one would notice the Sapphires are missing. Valentina mouthed a thank you and went on her way. Serena smiled but as soon as the Sapphires left, she burst out. “How DARE grandmama give Valentina the Fairy tiara and not ME!” Encore looked scared. Serena composed herself and sighed, “I’ll let THEM do all the work and take the prize for myself in the end. Ravenzella can have this… dump. I’ll rule the WORLD”, she grinned.

— AT PRISM BEACH —

“Quick look around!” commanded Valentina. They followed the music. “Ahoy! Secret sea cave ahead!” called out Rory. Everyone rushed to him. The music seemed to be coming that way. Valentina enters in quickly, she is desperate for a gemstone. The others followed but were interrupted by rockodiles. “AHHH!” screamed Layla and Rory. The Sapphires had to fight these things off so Val was on her own now. Valentina looked back. “Ugh, cowards”, not knowing what was happening she rolled her eyes. As Val ventures deeper, outside the Sapphires are trying everything to push the rockodiles back. “Glacier, freeze!” yelled Layla. The rockodile was frozen but broke out in a matter of seconds. Ava tries tying them up with Leaf’s vines but it’s no hope. Then she pulls something out of her pockets. “Berry Bombs!” yelled Ava and started throwing them at the rockodiles. She passed some to her friends. Unfortunately, Isabel notices something, the tide is coming in. She needs to save Valentina. The others got the rockodiles covered.

Deep inside the sea cave Val and cinder search for the stone. Cinder digs something. “What is it boy?” Val asks. Cinder neighs loudly. Valentina approaches him. “A fairy gemstone!” she yells in happiness. Val tries to dig it out but it just wouldn’t come out. Cinder neighs again but this time it wasn’t for a good reason. Valentina looks down, water has started to flow in the cave. “AHHH! HELP! SOMEONE!” she yells. Cinder panics but Val calms down and reassures him. “It’s ok boy, I’m here for you”, she says gently despite being scared herself. Then something started bubbling under the water. It was Isabel. “Isabel!” shouted Valentina. Val was happy to see her. “Val get in the bubble! We need to get out!” yelled Isabel in concern. Valentina stopped, “I can’t! I need to get the fairy gemstone.” — “That doesn’t matter! Your safety is the only concern” shouted back Isabel. Cinder got in the bubble but Valentina wasn’t listening. She tried digging through the rocks as the water was rising and as her once perfect nails were being scratched. Isabel jumped to Val and grabbed her. “I said your safety is my only concern!” Isa being stronger than Valentina brought her in the bubble easily and they escaped. “No”, said Val quietly, not taking her eyes off the stone. The two made it out. The others defeated the rockodiles and rushed to the pair once they saw them.

“No, I was so close”, says Val in defeat. Isabel holds her hand and looks at Val compassionately, “It wasn’t worth you.” — “Wait, Look!” shouted Layla, pointing to the gemstone floating towards them. Valentina’s face lit up. She stood up trying to grab it but it went past her, to River. Valentina looked VERY unhappy. She turned away. Usually Isabel would celebrate and tease Val but this time she pet River and went up to Valentina. “Hey, it’s fine. There are 6 gemstones. One for each of us.” Isabel said in an attempt to comfort Val. “Easy to say when you’ve got one”, replied Val coldly, not looking at Isabel. Isabel stepped back. She protected Valentina and this is the response she gets? Isabel is a little hurt but she doesn’t show it. The Sapphires head back and swap in with their duplicates, without anyone noticing. They work on the garden until they are allowed to head back to their dorm. The atmosphere among them is awkward, especially between Isabel and Valentina and no one dares to speak up.

Back at the dorm the Sapphires all sat down, inspecting the fairy gemstone. “Ok. Let’s do it.” said Val, determined. Sophia took the fairy gemstone and placed it on the tiara. Everyone waited for what was about to happen. -CLINK- The gemstone dropped onto the table. “Bruh”, said Rory. The girls looked disappointed. “Don’t worry girls, I’ll get the glue!” shouted Rory. “Rory! We are NOT gluing an ancient treasure!” said Layla. That’s when the gemstone played a melody. “It’s the same music I heard before", said Sophia. She picked it up and turned. The music played louder. Sophia turned the other way, the gemstone got quieter. Then she turned back. “It seems like the fairy gemstone is telling us where to go!” shouted Ava. Everyone followed Sophia in a line, like ducklings. Sophia suddenly stopped at the fireplace. Everybody bumped into her. “Here?” asked Sophia, in front of the fireplace. Val came forward and gently felt a groove on top of the fireplace. She analyzed it for a minute then placed the tiara on top. Suddenly the fireplace opened up. “Ahhh! A secret PASSAGE! What’s inside??” squealed Rory. “Only one way to find out”, said Sophia. She then slid down the fireplace. Ava and Rory followed. “Ew-uh what if it has bugs? My hair cannot get dirty!” said Val, taking a step back. “Too bad Val! If you want the other gemstones then down we go!” said Isabel, pushing Val down and sliding in after her. “Isaaabeeellll!” Valentina yelled while sliding down. “AHH! For magical discoveries!!” said Layla, sliding down at last.

At the bottom the Sapphires landed in a pile. “Whoo-hoo! Again!” yelled Ava, jumping up. “No!” said Val firmly, standing up quickly and patting herself down to get rid of all the dust. She then turned to Isabel, who was chuckling. “Oh I’ll get you back Isabel Armstrong” pouted Valentina. “Sure”, said Isabel gently, taking a dust ball off of Val’s hair. Val turned away so quickly. “Can you guys stop flirting and look here?” asked Rory. Val began to heat up. Her face and ears were fully red. “Wha- ugh WE WERE NOT!” she couldn’t even speak. Isabel just shook her head, smiling and followed Rory. The Sapphires started walking up a staircase. Then Rory pointed out to a bunch of drawings on the wall. “Look. I think it’s a story” said Rory. Valentina squinted and then gasped. “It is! My grandmama used to read me this story every night. It’s Solaira Furi, the first Unicorn rider!” (Imma just summarize this part. So, Valentina explains how Solaira crashed there and met Skywind. They were the first bond ever so the fatefairies gave Skywind powers and Solaira a tiara. Then Val explains how they banished Grimoria along with the first Grimorian queen. After, the fairy gemstones were scattered. Anyways continuing…) 

The Sapphires reached the top. Suddenly out of Sophia’s hand the gemstone started glowing. It flew out to the open space. The Sapphires followed. “What’s it doing?” asked Ava. Then strange markings appeared on the floor. “Ooooh hopscotch!” squealed Ava happily. “No wait. That looks like a map!” corrected Layla. “You’re right! Look, that’s Starglow Lake. That’s where I found the first gemstone.” said Sophia. The markings continued, connecting a path towards a different place. “A GHOST!” yelled Rory, jumping behind Isabel. “That’s a tree Rory”, said Isabel judgingly. “Hey, it still could be haunted. You’ll never know” said Rory quietly. Isabel rolled her eyes. “If that is Starglow lake then… this is the Whispering Willows!” shouted Valentina. “We are going, right?” asked Sophia. Everybody looked at Valentina, worried she might say no due to the curfew. “Uhm, yes? Even though I am an honorary student of Unicorn Academy I can still break the rules a little. Remember last time when I saved you all” said Valentina, flipping her hair. Sophia rolled her eyes. “Let’s do this Sapphires!” she yelled. Everyone cheered and made their way out through another secret passageway to the stables.

“Woah another SECRET PASSAGE!?” shouted Rory. “SHHH!” shushed Sophia. “It’s still after curfew.” The Sapphires mounted their unicorns and Sophia power-uped Wildstar, impressing everyone. They began riding to the Whispering Willows.

— BACK AT THE ACADEMY —

There was an attack on the academy. Grim magic and the weird creatures (goblins?). “Make sure all students are accounted for!” ordered Ms. Primrose. All dorms were good except for one, the Sapphire dorm obviously. Ms. Primrose, disappointed by their behavior again, went out with the teachers to find the Sapphires. “Once we find them, it’s detention… again”, said Ms. Furi, annoyed. The Sapphires reach the Whispering Willows. “Woah! These trees look so magical in the moonlight!” said Ava in astonishment. “So where is the next gemstone?” asked Val impatiently. There was only the sound of wind. “Maybe we went to the wrong place?” asked Rory, starting to turn back. Then a whisper came through. The voice, so soft, said “The Fairy Gemstones know your heart. You are all chosen to reunite them.” Everyone turned around. “You all heard that right?” asked Rory, clinging onto Storm. Then the music played, leading them to the next gemstone. Everyone split up trying to find the location though the echoing forest. “Hey! Over here” yelled Ava. “Leaf found something.” They stood in front of a tree. “Ava, we’re looking for a gemstone not a tree.” said Val, unimpressed. Then the trees in that area started glowing and revealed the gemstone in the tree. Nearby, the teachers noticed this glowing. “There! Fan out and find them!” ordered Ms. Primrose. The teachers started calling out for the students. The Sapphires panicked, they needed to get out of there. “Oh no! The teachers are here!” shouted Layla. “We need to go now!” yelled Isabel. “Not without the gemstone! Leaf?” asked Ava. Meanwhile the teachers were moving closer and closer, yelling out their names, which increased the pressure for the Sapphires. Finally, Leaf got the gemstone out. It flew in the air and Valentina tried reaching out for it but it dashed towards Ava. Leaf had the gemstone now. Magical Unicorn Transformation “Woah Leaf! So Pretty!!” said Ava, stroking Leaf’s mane. Valentina looked a little upset but that emotion had to be put off, the teachers were nearby. “Amazing Leaf but we need to go”, said Sophia. She didn’t want her friends getting in trouble again.

“Uh why are you here?” asked Val. “Cuz I wanna”, replied Isa. Then the two girls went silent while looking out at the dark sky lit only by the stars. Valentina takes a deep breath and tries to relax but then she hears this agitating noise. It was Isabel munching on her chips. “Could you munch any louder?” asked Val, giving Isa the side eye. “Why yes, I can”, said Isabel and continued munching even louder. “Why? Is it annoying you sparky?~” — “UGH! ISABEL if you don’t stop chewing like a goat, I WILL tell Auntie about the secret stash!” threatened Val. “OK dude!” said Isa. She then walked back inside, quietly mimicking what Val had said. Valentina was left on the patio alone. “Finally some peace and quiet”, she sighed. Then out in the distance she saw a light. “Mendoza?” Val returned to her room, she will interrogate her the next morning. It was getting late and she actually needed her beauty sleep this time.

-THE NEXT MORNING-

Valentina gets ready and goes downstairs. “Where is Mendoza?” she said to herself quietly. She proceeded to class, ready to interrogate her there. Later, Val looked around for Sophia but only she wasn’t in class. Then Sophia entered and just when Val began to speak, the bell rang. She tried speaking again but Ms. Furi entered. Now Val has to wait until class is over if she wanted to find out what Sophia was doing last night after curfew. “Ok Sapphires, you will be taking the pre-test over Unicorn Academy Magic. Here are your papers and no talking. You may begin” — “PRE-test?? What kind of school gives pre-tests!?” whined Rory. “This school, Mr. Carmichael” said Ms. Furi strictly. Rory slowly looked down at his paper and frowned. That’s when Ghost appeared and gestured. “Huh, I’m called to the front office?” asked Ms. Furi. “Sapphires, I will have to step out for a few minutes. Valentina, you're in charge. Make sure no one is cheating or talking.” Valentina nodded. Then Ms. Furi stepped out. 

“OK Mendoza. What were you doing last night?” blurted Val as soon as her auntie left. “You won’t believe it. Look!” said Sophia excitedly. She presented a gemstone in a familiar shape. “That looks like…” started Ava. “A FAIRY GEMSTONE!” finished Valentina and Layla. Sophia handed it to Valentina. Everybody gathered around her like a group of ducklings. “I got this vision after you showed us the tiara. When I went to the place in my vision this really weird melody played. That’s how me and Wildstar found it. It also gave these sick powerups for her!” said Sophia. “If you found one… that means…” said Valentina slowly, still looking at the gemstone. “It means the others are around here too! If we can find them then…” said Layla as she quickly turned to Val. “We could banish Grimoria, just like Solaira Furi!” finished Val with a huge smile. “That’s great! Then we won’t have to experience any more hateful glances from the other students!” said Ava happily.“We’ll be heroes again!” shouted Isabel. “And we won’t have to do tests anymore!” claimed Rory standing on his chair. The girls looked at him. “Yeah no dude” said Isabel while shaking her head. Rory chuckled softly and got down. Then they heard footsteps. “Quick, back to your desks! Auntie is returning!” said Valentina rushingly. “Wait! What’s the answer to number 1?” asked panicked Rory. “SHHH!” shushed everyone. “Oh I’m cooked” said Rory quietly. Ms. Furi entered and looked around. “Everyone behaved, Valentina?” — “Yes Auntie”, said Val innocently.

Heyo! I started rewriting Unicorn Academy secrets revealed. This is my first time writing anything so idk abt the grammer and punctuation rules. pls bear w me lol. Plus idk if it's Solara or Solaria Furi so I'm sorry if I got that wrong. Hope you guys enjoy reading it tho!

“Whooo!”, said Isabel as she won the race. “That’s another point for me and River” — “Hey now, wait just a minute, we weren’t ready!”, said Rory while Storm was trying to catch her breath. Sophia, Ava, and Layla agreed but Isabel continued to brag. Just then they saw something in the air, “A school boat!” said Ava — “That must be Valentina”, said Sophia. “Finally a worthy opponent”, stated Isabel. Sophia just rolled her eyes. “Come on, River! Let’s go and welcome our rival”, said Isabel while smiling. Then River formed a water bubble and they floated up to the school boat. The rest of the Sapphires exchanged glances. “Guess Chapter 2 of Fire vs Water has begun”, stated Layla. They all laughed and started their way back to the school port.

In the air Isabel and River reach up to the boat. Isabel jumps off into the boat startling Valentina. Valentina looks back, “Isabel?” — “The one and only”, said Isabel proudly. River started his way down, leaving the competitors be. “Your hair, it’s different…” observed Valentina. “IKR! I thought I would try something new. And your hair Val it’s–”, suddenly the boat shook a little due to the wind. Valentina tumbled forward a little into Isabel. Isabel caught her and the pair just stood there for a minute. They looked at each other without any words said. Then Valentina realized Isabel had her hands around Val’s waist. Val’s face lit up like a red Christmas light and then she pulled away. Isabel, noticing what happened, also pulled away with rose tinted cheeks. Then Isabel turned away and looked at the school in the distance and said, “Now that school's starting, our competitions will be too huh?” She turned to face Valentina, who had her arms crossed and looked the other way. “Can’t wait to see the look on your face when I beat you like everytime~”, teased Isabel. Valentina scoffed, “As if! Me and Cinder are the ones who beat YOU two everytime.” — “Oh really, how about we ask Layla to show us the point tally book?” said Isabel in a long tone. Just then the boat landed and the rest of the Sapphires arrived at the port.

The Sapphires were again reunited at last. Suddenly Valentina pulled out a box. “I have a surprise!” The Sapphires watched as Valentina started to open up her box. Just as she was about to continue the school announcement was made, “All Unicorn Academy students report to the school’s front entrance.” Valentina put her box away. “Awww, come on! What’s inside?” whined Rory. “It’s a surprise!” Isabel said exaggeratedly. Rory rolled his eyes and the Sapphires started their way to the school’s front entrance. “Oh stop whining, this box isn't the only surprise” said Valentina while rolling her eyes. 

Then at the front entrance, Ms. Primrose welcomed the newcomers and announced the big event that was going to happen this year. “For the Solara Furi Festival we are excited to welcome… Serena Fur-” — “Just Serena”, interrupted the girl. — “Serena, world wide pop star! She will be performing at the festival this year. Give her a round of applause everyone”, announced Ms. Primrose. All the students cheered as they realized THE SERENA was at their school, especially this one particular student, LAYLA. “O-M-G! It’s Serena. I can’t believe it. This isn’t possible. How, when, wha- AHGJHDJBDSBA” — “Layla, calm down” said Isabel. Valentina butt in. “Actually her reaction is valid because my cousin is THE best pop star. Everybody knows her.” She then flipped her hair gracefully. “I didn’t until now.” stated Isabel. Layla looked at Isabel surprised, her jaw almost dropped down to the floor. “You didn’t know who she was?? And wait, your COUSIN??” shouted Layla. Then music started playing. Catchy beats and all sorts of lights. Serena started singing for her fans, then suddenly she stopped and shrieked, hitting THE highest note.

The Sapphires looked back. In horror, they saw Ravenzella. Ravenzella started attacking the school and this time she brought an even bigger friend. A huge snake dashed towards the students. The teachers commanded all the students to get in their dorms including the Sapphire heros. The Sapphires, being themselves, ignored the teachers’ words and charged at Ravenzella and her snake. The fight was short but still cool. Sophia protected her friends with Wildstar’s rainbow shield, Ava tied the snake down with Leaf’s vines, then Isabel and River trapped the snake in a bubble while Sophia and Ava fought Ravenzella. Just then Cinder came galloping to Valentina. The fiery duo sped up and set a circle ablaze around the snake, double trapping it. The bubble popped, allowing Layla and Glacier to time freeze the snake and having Rory finish off with a lightning strike, breaking the frozen snake into a million pieces. Ravenzella retreated but questionably was not angered. The sapphires just came back and were already saving the day.

Unfortunately due to this incident, Ms. Primrose had to implement a curfew at 6pm. The other students groaned and stared at the Sapphires with anger. Not the reaction the Sapphires hoped for but at least they saved the day. As they were in the midst of celebrating, Ms. Primrose ordered all of them to get their behavior straight or serious consequences would be implemented. The Sapphires, confused and angered by this, returned to the stables. Valentina entered a little later with a guest. Layla fainted at the sight of this guest. It was none other than Serena. “Oh-em-gee! You must be my baby cousin’s little friends! She told me all about you guys, especially a blonde named Isabel?” Isabel glanced at Valentina, surprised. “I wanted to thank you all for saving me!” — “Well Serena is tired from her travel so she needs rest”, said Valentina rushingly while escorting Serena out of the stables. 

Valentina enters back in with a flushed face and quickly shuffles to Cinder’s side to brush his mane. It’s quiet at the stable then Ava breaks the silence, “So that was your cousin. She seems really nice!” — “Of course she is! She’s the best pop star and person” stated Layla with pride. The stable filled with laughter. The Sapphires returned to their dorm and they all plopped down on the couch. They were all tired from the fight. Fighting a huge snake was a big deal despite them showing no sweat. 

“OH! Can you show what’s inside the box now??” asked Rory excitedly. “Ig…”, said Valentina, hiding her smile. The Sapphires gathered around her. Valentina opened the box and inside was a tiara. “Oh it’s just a tiara”, said Isabel with no excitement. “This is the tiara of Solara, the first ever unicorn rider!”, said Valentina strongly. Isabel squinted her eyes, observing the tiara “Eh looks normal.” Valentina just rolled her eyes at her. Ava took the tiara, feeling it. Then, Layla grabbed the tiara, inspecting it and referencing her sparkle book. Then Rory came in and swooped it, placing it on his head gracefully. “Look at me I’m Solara Furi”, he said in a high voice while batting his eyelashes and bowing with his imaginary dress. Sophia, Ava, and Isabel just laughed. Valentina swiped the tiara from Rory. “This is NOT a toy RORY!” said Valentina angrily and gave him the side eye. “Alr that’s enough tiara time for today. I need my beauty sleep.” and she made her way to her room. The rest of the Sapphires also head to their rooms.

In their room, while Ava is sound asleep, Sophia wasn’t. She keeps hearing a sound, a melody, that she heard when first looked at the tiara. She also had a vision and she couldn’t just sleep knowing there was something waiting to be discovered. Quietly, she made her way out of the dorm and into the stables. Her and Wildstar were back again with the sneaking out. She had to find out what that vision was. Back in another room, Isabel wasn’t able to sleep. She was thinking about what Serena said. Valentina talking about her? Probably describing the races she lost to Val, right? That’s when her stomach growled. “Ugh. I need food” Isabel got up carefully and walked downstairs to raid Rory’s secret stash of snacks under the couch. As she got off the last step, she heard something. Thinking it was an intruder, she jumped them with a blanket, covering their face. “Hah gotcha!” exclaimed Isabel. “Hey!” a voice called out. “Valentina?” asked Isabel while taking off the blanket. The two stared at each other, not realizing Isabel was on top of Valentina. Once they did realize they got up so fast, blushing. “Uh, what are you doing down here?” asked Valentina, breaking the awkwardness. “I was gonna get a snack,” said Isabel. “Wait, what about you? What are you doing down here?” asked Isa. “Uhm… I wasn’t sleepy so I thought I would get some air.” — “I thought you needed your beauty sleep?” asked Isa, raising an eyebrow. “Well I changed my mind. OK?” said Val. “OK, OK”, said Isa reassuringly.

Then Isabel walked up to the couch and lifted one of the mattresses. Underneath was a bunch of snacks. She took a bag of chips and started eating it. “How long has that been there?” asked Val, disgusted. “IDK, ask Rory. He lost a bet so he had to show me his secret stash.” said Isabel while munching on the chips. “Have you even checked if those are expired? You trying to get sick or what?” asked Val, irritated. She then grabbed the chips and inspected it. The chips were good, had a few more months. Isabel grabbed the bag back. “Gee thanks MOM”, she said exaggeratedly. Val rolled her eyes and went to the patio. Isabel followed.
