“you know what…” riley spoke, having been silently thinking the entire time. “don’t take this the wrong way, but i feel like we’re all getting so old right now. everyone is getting married and having babies left and right, and it’s throwing me off.”

“babe, we’re married.” jimin pointed out with a tilt of her head and a little laugh, taking the opportunity to tease him. she moved over from the doorway she’d entered from, coming to sit down in her husband’s lap, an arm loosely wrapping around his shoulders. “...what if i told you i’m pregnant?” she couldn’t resist teasing him some more, trying to sound as serious as she could.

“you can’t tell anyone, not even riley!” penelope warned in a whisper as she closed the door to the room she shared with ambrose. she’d dragged jimin in there, and thankfully, their partners were too distracted catching up to notice them disappear. “okay, so,” she sighed, pacing for a few seconds before forcing herself to stop. “i think i might propose to ambrose.” 

“please, when do i ever blab about anyone’s-... okay, about your secrets.” jimin spoke with a sheepish smile, knowing her loyalty was more with penelope than anyone else who told her things. jimin looked at friend pacing with an amused expression, knowing how she could get sometimes. “oh, holy shit!” the words came out to loud and jimin covered her mouth with her hand, eyebrows shooting up from the surprise of it. “what the fuck? i didn’t expect that.” she laughed, quieter now.
