“thank you for walking me home.” seongjun said as he opened the door to his house, a small smile and a blush on his face. there was a boy right behind him, a little taller than him and looking shy as well. however, as soon as jun looked up, he saw one of his dads and stopped in his tracks. he couldn’t help but feel embarrassed as he turned back around to say goodbye to the other boy before closing the door. “i- okay... i know what you’re going to say!” 

“okay, just because she’s been singing for over twenty years now, that still doesn’t make her a good singer. she’s got money and connections, and loads of autotune on that scratchy ass voice, don’t even try to tell me otherwise. i know naturally good vocals when i heard them.”

“kids at school think they’re so funny making jokes about me wearing a purple dress whilst my name is violet.” she huffed, crossing her arms with an offended pout. “you know what, i might as well just get a whole purple wardrobe and declare myself queen violet. see if any of those idiots mess with me again.”

seongjun was walking with his best friend after classes. the other had asked him to get lunch with him, and jun really couldn’t pass up the chance to spend more time with him. as usual, they were passing through the park to get to their favorite lunch destination. and whilst jun was in the middle of ranting about something irrelecant, he felt a hand slip into his own, making his heart race faster than it usually did around the boy. he looked up at hajoon, eyes a little wide. his smile was obviously showing how nervous he was. he remembered the conversation he had with his parents just the other day, and that’s when he thought he should just get the courage and tell him. “anyway, uh...” he cut himself off from the previous conversation. “i wanted to tell you something, but i didn’t know how to go about it, or even bring it up, and i don’t even know how you would feel about it, so i’m a little nervous-” he ranted, not getting to the point.

solji didn’t understand what exactly was happening between them. the two of them were best friends, and yet they did things best friends wouldn’t normally do. she wasn’t complaining, though. she trusted heesun more than anyone and she felt comfortable with her. especially in a moment like right now, where heesun was right on top of her and kissing her. except that moment ended when they heard a knock at the door, and solji panicked as she pushed the girl from on top of her. of course, her dad didn’t wait for a response and came in just like that, only to stand there, wide eyed as he looked at the two of them. “what the fu-” minho spoke, only to be interrupted by solji getting up and trying to push him out of the room. “appa, just leave!” she whined, clearly embarrassed to have her dad see that. “wait, wait, hold on!” he stayed in his spot, not solji’s efforts doing nothing to him. “are you two... girlfriends?” 

“alright, listen. so, the iphone 31 pro is dropping in a week. you think dad’s gonna let me borrow a thousand quid?” jun asked, hands on his cheeks as he thought deeply and so seriously about this. “i mean, cuteness still works on him. but dude’s gonna ask me what’s wrong with my current phone. the heck am i supposed to say to that? i dropped it in the toilet again? he’s not gonna believe that.” 

“yes, i have a cone on my head. no, you can’t question it. it’s a long story that we don’t want to get into.”

“doesn’t this look silly?” kiri laughed as she put the hat on her head and held the strings attached to it. “mum said these were so popular back when she was younger. i don’t get it, though. it looks stupid... look!” kiki pressed on the strings and the ears of the animal on the hat flew up, making her laugh.
