Giving Tuesday: this is my wife.. we’ve been married for nearly 25 years and 15 years of those she has been a elementary teacher. Unfortunately her school was one of the 4 elementary schools that were destroyed by Hurricane Ian. Since then she’s had to rebuild her classroom from scratch. This is a shot of the cross that hangs in our “fight club” boxing/Bible study barn @lifeatclf .. EVERYTHING fell down in the barn during the hurricane except this. 2 days ago I finally lost it in a racetrac parking lot. A weeks worth of stress, anxiety and adrenaline finally caught up to me when someone said “how are you really doing?” I’m not the crying type but the snot bubbles started coming.. mainly because I’ve seen the love of Christ showing up through his people. We’ve been blessed with food, gas, water & so much more than we could’ve prayed for but the needs of my community are vast. I’m sunburnt, tired, my feet hurt and I still have no power but I’m blessed, joyful & filled with hope today. Hurricane IAN has rocked my community of SWFL but we are strong and resilient and God is still on his throne.
