Iâm not gonna lie, Iâm honestly really scared of the yumeshipping community right now. Ever since I heard about that K-pop idol openly shipping with a Digital Circus character, itâs been freaking me out about the future of selfshippingâŚespecially for those of us who are more serious about it or use it to cope. I donât want something that means so much to me, to other people too, to turn into a trend. This isnât just some aesthetic or joke, itâs a genuine source of comfort, happiness, and love. And it feels like once something becomes âpopular,â it loses that meaning and gets treated differently.
I kept hoping it would just die down, like most things on TikTok or Twitter do, but seeing someone that famous talk about it so openly makes it feel like itâs only going to get bigger. And that honestly scares me. Is anyone else scared too? Please tell me Iâm not alone in this feeling.

Unfortunately I think it will end up as a trend and the people doing it will be the ones who laughed at genuine yumeshippers, raikos and such.
Though, even if it does start as a trend, we'll have something they won't. That's a genuine connection. Remember, your yumeship is not for likes, it's for you and your F/Os will know that too. <3
