So! Tomorrow! Im gonna finally be making a fresh new hub blog that I'm gonna re-link my current RP blogs to, and re-following folks.

Sapph's January Creature Design Challenge: Bestuary 2026!

So at the beginning of this month, did a quick poll of what art challenge I'd be doing. Votes were for Bestuary, so here's how it's gonna work!

I'm gonna need some prompts, at least 10-15 since I'm only doing every 2-3 days. I'm gonna shuffle the prompts I get, maybe post the list for anyone else who wants to do it, and design a creature based on each one. MIGHT be doing them as sketch pages rather than a normal piece of work, haven't decided on that just yet.

Anyway, here's the form to submit your prompts! You can also submit cryptids or mythical beasts to reinterpret!

So! Had a funky dream last night that I'm sharing here and tagging @kaanta for because Chairman Rose, even if I end up not having much to say. XD

Basically, Rose takes a bunch of teenagers on a bus driven by Oleana to some sort of jungle, Magic School Bus style. Along the way, he has Oleana stop the bus and open the doors, where he just yoinks a small rampardos and two tiny cranidos in. After looking around confused and letting one of the students get close, it suddenly charged at a second student who tried to approach, only to abruptly stop and curl up in a third student's lap.

Rose commented these actions were the cranidos smelling that the second student was strong and it wanted to fight, and the third student seemed to be it's destined human. Afterwards, there was a jump cut to the students setting up camp with Rose and Oleana helping out.

Then I was woken up by my cat having zoomies.

Reworking the server I made for the Olympia region project into something to just hang out in and maybe do project stuff in general.

I'm just kinda... Figuring what else we need before posting a new invite link.

Welp, old project ideas rattle in my head again. I know I only recently started that Greece region project, but my brain continues to spin nonetheless.

Now I'm thinking of a man-made region made up of crossbreeds and/or regional variants. A group of 10 or so islands, with each one representing a different sort of biome. The first island has a battle center that houses all 8 gyms.

The gyms can be battled in any order, and, rather than featuring specific types, they feature the pokemon found on 8 of the other islands. Defeating each gym leader unlocks their respective island that each would have it's own mini-arc. The 10th island, with the E4 and Champion, would probably be unlocked by reaching a certain point on the other 8 unlockable islands.

If the Digimentals/Armor DigiEggs were ported into pokemon, would they be regular evolution items (like evo stones or Razor Claw) or an alternative to Mega Evolution?
