backstory:
Kitty has lived in Pinehaven her entire life and can't imagine ever leaving. Most people would probably think that she's itching to escape to a bigger city, but that isn't true. She's got a big personality that may belong in a bigger city, but she likes being a big fish in a little pond. Pinehaven is home and she'd miss it too much if she left.
She started making OOTD videos as a senior in high school, posting them online in hopes of finding people who loved fashion and makeup as much as she did. Kitty gained a small following in the first few months, got a few small brand deals, and managed to keep the trolls to a minimum. Then, a video from her graduation went viral. Overnight she had hundreds of thousands of people following her, brands reaching out, and the realization that maybe putting off college wasn't such a bad idea.
Kitty has been making content online for a few years now and she hasn't gotten sick of it. It's the perfect outlet to express herself and share her love of fashion and makeup. She's even learned to ignore the inevitable nasty comments. The money she gets from it also doesn't hurt. It might be easy to write Kitty off as a vapid rich girl but that's far from the truth. She very much loves her community and is an active participant in the town. She's also been known to share the goods she gets sent from brands.
Kitty is kind, loyal, and loves to connect with new people. If you see her around town, say hi! She'd love to sit and chat for a minute... or hour or two.

iniya turned to meet kitty's eyes and shares in her laughter when she mimics the dance that she was just doing. "oh thank god it was you. i would have been so embarrassed if anyone else had walked in." tension released from her shoulders as she realized it was a regular who was beloved by everyone at the LG Bean + Tea. "i would absolutely love to hear any tips that you have! impart on me your great knowledge, oh wise one."
she began to make kitty's usual order which most at the cafe had memorized from how often she came in. "in all seriousness, i would love any advice you can give. this is something i've just started doing for fun since i used to dance in high school so i'm still new to everything."
"Consistency is key, my darling," Kitty said, her grin spreading. The concept of consistency had been pounded into her head over and over again when she was first starting out. If you wanted to grow a following, you had to give them stuff to watch. "Are you wanting to get into content creation?" Kitty asked, her tone going from teasing into a more genuine one. She leaned into the bar, watching Iniya make her usual drink. "People love watching pretty girls dance," She said, rolling her eyes. The reality of the situation was that people loved watching pretty girls do anything. "Maybe you could make up your own dance! Find yourself a trending audio and bust a move!" Kitty's own success had come from one viral video. She'd kept up with it in order to maintain her following, but all it took was one.
jett spent each weekend at the farmers market, mainly shopping for himself as the market held a high quality standard when it came to food and drinks, and he just couldn't help himself. other times he was at the farmers market, was to grab materials for his job at crystal cove. he also enjoyed the sun and being outdoors in general, the fresh air and the bustle of people all gathered in the market was a feeling he could never replace. he had only carried a few items in his bag that he brought from home, attending more booths to grab something he might've missed.
he was stopped in his tracks when he noticed his friend kitty approaching him. he listened to the reasons why she carried so many bags, nodding his head to each sentence. he let her finish speaking before he raised his eyebrows and spoke, “i'm pretty sure if i was a father, the entire town of pinehaven would know by now,” he joked. without her asking or denying help, he lifted some of the bags out of her hands. “it's the longest day of the year, you know i couldn't miss out on this. also, that's very kind of you to make a brunch for your father. i'm sure he'll enjoy it!” he began walking because he felt he'd make better conversation if they were moving. “i don't have much planned today, i was probably going to go home and cook dinner for myself. or bother hanne even though it's both of our days off. what else do you have planned other than the brunch?” he led them to the parking lot, insisiting on helping her load her items into her car.
"So true," Kitty agreed, laughing. She opened her mouth to stop Jett from taking some of her bags, but closed it when she realized it would likely be pointless. Chivalry wasn't dead in Pinehaven. "My mom and my sister are doing most of the cooking part of brunch..." She admitted, smiling sheepishly. "I was tasked with the gathering portion... they don't want me burning the house down." Kitty did not know her way around a kitchen. Even when she followed a recipe, something turned out wrong. The idea that different levels of heat and different types of pans and all of it was like a foreign language to her. At this point in her life, she simply didn't care to learn more than what she already knew.
Kitty used her freed up hand to fish through her bag in search of her car keys. When she found them, she popped the trunk of her little pink beetle and led the way towards it. "Oh, tell Hanne I say hi if you do see her. Not much else going on for me," She replied. "Just hanging out as a family until later..." Kitty loaded her bags into the tiny trunk then took the ones Jett had carried for her. "But you've got to come down to the lake to watch the sun go down!" She insisted, turning back towards him. "I think there's gonna be some live music and free drinks," Although the offered wine coolers wouldn't be anywhere near as good as the wine from Crystal Cove. "And moi, of course." Kitty grinned, tossing her hair over her shoulder teasingly.
vada let out an incredulous sound that was the auditory equivalent of a heavy door closing on a drafty room. "the day i fully embrace a persona that involves burlap accents and artisanal honey is the day you may legally commit me to an institution, katherine." she adjusted her sunglasses, ensuring the barricade between herself and the bright afternoon glare remained completely uncompromised. as they stepped out from beneath the canopy of the boutique stall and back into the pedestrian traffic, vada fell into step beside the younger girl, her arms remaining loosely folded across her midsection in a posture of permanent skepticism.
"and to answer your query, no. i did not arrive with my brother, it was more logical to meet him here. if i depended on ajani for transportation, we would still be sitting in his living room while he attempted to locate his car keys in a pile of clean laundry," she stated, her tone shifting into that slightly exasperated warmth she reserved exclusively for discussing her sibling. "he is currently occupied at the tattoo pavilion, or whatever they are calling that communal exercise in poor judgment near the main stage. i believe he promised to ink miniature fruit onto several willing participants today. i chose to distance myself from the liability."
she cast a sweeping glance across the rows of white tents, her analytical gaze cataloging the wooden crafts, the jars of preserves, and the overwhelming amount of gingham currently occupying her field of vision. there was absolutely nothing here that met her rigorous criteria for aesthetic or functional utility, yet the inflexible edge that usually dictated her posture had settled into something resembling a truce with her environment. all things considered, her billable hours had been spent worse.
"however, since we have accomplished your retail objectives, I suppose we can continue this excursion toward the main thoroughfare," vada noted, checking her watch with an air of decisive finality before dropping her hand. "i'd flirted with the idea of making my way toward the artisan market tent on the north side, if only to ascertain whether anyone in this municipality understands the concept of hand poured candle safety, or if the entire pavilion is a localized fire hazard waiting to happen. you may accompany me, katherine, if you wish."
"Oh, come on," Kitty laughed. She put her hand against her chest, giving Vada a half meaningful, half teasing look. "I've fully embraced it, and I'm not so bad." There wasn't much embracing needing to be done on her part, of course, considering she was Pinehaven born and raised. But she'd never had a desire to leave and sow her oats in bigger pastures, so she supposed she'd continued to embraced her small town roots as an adult. "Definitely not committable... and If I am, don't tell me, let me live in ignorant bliss." Kitty laughed again.
"He needs one of those retractable key chains to hook on a belt loop or something," Kitty chuckled. "Though, he might forget to actually attach it so..." She waved a hand as if to toss the idea out the window. The idea of people getting little strawberry tattoos had Kitty's eyes widening in excitement. She'd had no idea that was happening. She wouldn't get one herself, but she'd definitely need to stop by and see the turn out. God, how cute, a tiny little souvenir from one of the towns best events. She kept that to herself, though, since Vada clearly did not agree.
"Oh, candles!" Kitty exclaimed, nodding her head in acceptance of the invitation. She didn't know about the safety habits of the people making them but... well, none of the ones she'd purchased in the past had burned her house down so... "Last year this sweet little old woman was selling a strawberry and fig candle and, oh my god, wow that's what I imagine heaven smells like." Or, well, she would if she thought heaven was an actual place. "Hopefully the entire tent won't burn down before I have a chance to snag another one of those."

orion tracked the precise path of kitty’s manicured pinky finger as it hovered just millimeters above the textured paper, tracing the delicate, dynamic contours of the two dancing silhouettes she had just conjured from ink and instinct. there was a deeply rooted, quiet gratification that settled into the spaces between orion's ribs whenever she witnessed a prospective client genuinely connect with a design. seeing them map out the reality of an image before it ever encountered the permanent bite of a needle. it was a subtle form of magic, watching kitty find a sense of weightless animation within lines that orion’s typically melancholic hands had fashioned. "it's easy enough to do," orion murmured, a small, private flash of pride warming her chest at kitty's instant approval of the linework. "it's just a matter of the taper. if i pull the lines upward and away from the neck, it captures the drag of the spin. gives it wind without crowding the space."
she took the weathered sketchbook back into her lap, her chin sinking onto the damp denim of her knees as she stared out across the water. the vast, cloudless expanse of the solstice sky was finally completing its slow transition, the bruised indigo of the shortest night crowding out the last, stubborn remnants of orange that clung to the horizon. the temperature was dropping rapidly now, sending a damp chill rolling off the lake, but the vivid, lingering enthusiasm radiating from the girl beside her remained a sharp protective barrier against the gloom.
"it's going to be your first ink, right?" orion added softly, her dark eyes shifting away from the dying twilight to study the bright, unbothered profile of her companion. "nervous about it at all? people get paralyzed overthinking the permanence of it. but the anticipation, when you realize a concept actually fits the space you've been saving for it, that's the best part." she choose not to confess her own masochistic relationship with the needle, it was hard to spin the rather obtuse perspective in a positive light.
Kitty's smile grew and she nodded her head as Orion explained how easy it would be to give the tattoo the appearance of movement. That was important to the design, she knew it would matter to her sister as well. There were hundreds, thousands even, of photos of the Coltrane girls together. Plenty of good ones to choose from where they weren't spinning each other around. But none of them were the favorite picture, the one they'd want to get. So it was important to them that the motion be captured as best as it could be. Luckily for them, the tattoo artists at Swept Away had been trained well, and knew what they were doing.
"Mhm, first one..." Kitty replied. "I guess I'm a little nervous..." She shrugged. "But not about the actual process... I don't think the needle will bother me." Perhaps another perk of growing up with very clinically minded parents, Kitty had never been afraid of needles. And she had a pretty solid hold on the concept that pain was temporary. She, however, had always been an indecisive person, so the idea of regretting the choice to move forward with a tattoo did linger in the back of her mind. "I guess I just don't want to regret getting it... like, I know there's laser removal, but that's kind of sad, you know?" Kitty chuckled to herself softly. "I'd literally hate to have someone I knew, a friend, put the work into creating something and tattooing it only to get it removed in a few years..." That's why it was so important to her that the tattoo have meaning.
"But I'm definitely crossing over into the excited anticipation part of it..." Kitty lifted a hand and held her pointer finger and thumb a tiny bit apart. "Like, this close to being absolutely certain in the decision." And the fact that she'd already connected to Orion's quick doodle of the idea brought her even closer to certainty. "Except, I still have no idea where I'd want it... that's, like, a whole different ball game."

Kitty was physically incapable of passing by someone she knew without saying hi. And considering she'd lived in Pinehaven her entire life, and was a notorious people person, she was always passing by someone she knew. There was no such thing as a "quick trip out" for Kitty. She had to work in time to chat into her schedule because it was simply inevitable. It didn't even matter how well she knew someone. Even if they'd only spoken one other time, if Kitty knew their name, she would stop to say hi. When she found herself in highly populated situations, the farmers market for instance, she limited herself to only saying hi and did her best to avoid striking up a conversation with every other person she saw. On the way home from the market, though, was fair game. So, of course, she was calling out to someone she knew as she walked through the park towards home.
"Jett!" Kitty called out, putting a little pep in her step to catch up with him. When she reached him she resecured her shopping bags onto her shoulders and smiled. Always an oversharer, Kitty launched right into why she had so much from the farmers market, even though JJ hadn't asked. "Happy first day of summer! And Father's Day, but I'm pretty sure you're not secretly a father..." She teased. "I just got all this stuff to make a big brunch for my dad... including a bottle of his favorite wine from Crystal Cove, obvi." Kitty checked the time on her watch, making sure she had enough time to chat before she was expected back home. Good news, she did! "What are you up to today? Are you going to the summer solstice event later?"
lunch rush had officially ended and it was iniya's turn to be on aux so naturally pink patheress is blaring through the speakers. it was her lifeline through the stress, being able to bob her head to the music and half dance while making drinks. there was a particular tiktok dance stuck in her head so since things had died down and she was behind the bar alone, she set up her phone to film it.
she's halfway through her second take when someone walks in. her eyes go wide as she tries to decide what is more embarrassing, getting caught filming the tiktok or trying to cover up the fact she was filming a tiktok? considering she was at her job, she decided to go with the latter. "um, be right there!" her voice came out at a high pitch as she tied her apron back on, shoving her phone into her back pocket.
Kitty loved LG Bean + Tea, not only because wanted to support Joshua, but also because they had a solid drinks menu. So, she came at least once a week to see what was up. Kitty loved to chat, too, and she'd made friends with pretty much all the workers. When she came in today and saw Iniya making, what she assumed to be, a tiktok video, she was already smiling. "I know that one!" Kitty exclaimed, mimicking the moves herself and laughing. "Don't stop on my account," She said, leaning against the counter. "I know a thing or two about getting the perfect take." Dancing online wasn't her thing, but she was still a content creator and knew how many takes some things took.
matthias watched as kitty's face lit up when he made the last shot, he never had that feeling of winning something you want. his lips curled into a half smile, quietly observing her as she placed the plushie into her hands. he hasn't had a chance to visit an amusement park growing up, as his mom was juggling raising him and the rest of his siblings by herself. he wants to experience all he missed out on one step at a time, his excitement building up for whatever the night unfolds next. “how about we go and get those funnel cakes?” he felt like these sorts of places were a maze, allowing kitty to lead him to the booth as he'd be going in circles. “do you come to places like this often? this is actually my first time. i want to try everything here, what is your favorite part?” he followed close to kitty, their arrival to the funnel cake booth revealing a large line behind it. this would be the perfect time to engage in small talk and getting to know one another. “i don't think i've rode a rollercoaster before either. are you afraid of heights?” he put his hands in his pocket, fiddling with the lint hidden inside.
Kitty tucked her prize under her arm and smiled, motioning in the direction of the funnel cake stand and the line that was wrapping around. "Oh yeah, I come every year, like, three or four times." She laughed. "I love a carnival!" She loved pretty much everything the town put on, but an event like this was extra fun. "You've never been on a rollercoaster?" Kitty gasped, clutching Matthias' arm. "There's some really fun rides here... oh, like, the swings..." She pointed across the crowd to the giant swings in the distance. "And the Hyper Loop... it like spins you around in a giant circle while you're swinging back and forth." There was limited space for any giant rollercoaster, but there were still some thrill rides packed into the space. "I'm not afraid of heights, I think they're kind of cool, actually... like seeing the world from really high up. What about you? Do heights make you queasy?"

he didn't know if being practically invisible was a good thing or not , but he decided he wouldn't hold it against kitty . at least she had apologized .
“ don't be sorry , it happens , ” he said , glancing up to make sure that his painting still matched the view he saw before him . “ i'd like to think i'm skilled enough to capture the junewings in painting form , but i can't promise anything . if nothing else , i know for sure that i can paint the sunset without too much difficulty . ” even though he'd been painting since he was practically old enough to hold a brush , he always felt he could get better ( and consistently tried to do so ) .
the sunset was one thing , but the flying critters were another . “ they'd be a lot easier to paint if they sat still for longer . i don't want to capture one for the sake of painting them , and pictures online don't really do them justice . if one could simply take a seat long enough for me to paint it , that would be great , but that'd be asking for a miracle . ”
"It looks great so far," Kitty said, looking between the canvas and the sky. Declan was capturing it perfectly so far. She, of course, didn't have the eye for this type of art, her artistic skills went as far as makeup, but she knew what good looked like! She couldn't help but grimace slightly at the idea of one of the junewing's landing on or near her. The whole in the hair thing was giving her war flashbacks. But she did hope one landed long enough for Declan to paint one.
"Fingers crossed for a miracle," Kitty chuckled, waiting until he didn't have his paintbrush against the canvas before she lightly knocked into his shoulder. She kept watching him for a bit longer before asking, "Are you painting this for someone specifically or just for fun?" It was always interesting to her what artist did with their work. Whether it be giving it away to a loved one or selling it online. It was cool to think that she was watching Declan paint something that was going to hang in someone's house one day soon.
Joshua loved anything he didn't have to pay for, but he was also a man of class and elegance (even if he did not seem to be very elegant). To take the whole bag would be tacky and he could feel his mother's glare for being so greedy. So, Joshua shook his head but still eyed the bag with yearning. Such an expression did not last long. Once Kitty changed the subject to the Summer Solstice, Joshua's face lit back up. "Their asses should already be in this store so we can see who's the best diva in all of Pinehaven during open mic," he sputtered. "Which! I expect you to be there, just like everyone else in this town. I bet you got some chops or at least the confidence to fail spectacularly!"
"The chops?" Kitty laughed, scrunching her nose up and shaking her head. "I don't have the chops but, yeah, the confidence definitely!" She didn't think she qualified as the worst singer in the world, or even in the Pines, but she wasn't good either. But the point of karaoke wasn't to be good, it was to have fun. "I'll be here, and I'm singing..." Kitty pursed her lips and tapped her chin as she thought. "Hot to go?" That would surely be a crowd pleaser. "Or maybe some old school Justin Beiber..." Or maybe even both! Kitty loved a good party and having fun, and Joshua knew how to put on a good open mic night.
the phantom ache of that envy didn’t vanish, but it dulled slightly as kitty pivoted, her breezy acceptance of mortality brushing past the heavy gravity that usually anchored orion to the earth. it was strange to hear someone speak of the ultimate end so casually, without the choking dread orion carried in her own throat. "i suppose it is," orion murmured softly, her eyes tracking the final, gasping orange arc as it slipped beneath the glassy dark of lake whittier. "but the beholder usually has to be brave enough to look at the wreckage without turning away. you're better at that than most." certainly better than her. she caught the jesting shift against her arm, a grounding pressure that prevented her from completely dissolving into her own somber musings. "i'll look out for the tutorial," she added, her lips shifting into that frail semblance of a smile that never quite succeeded in reaching her eyes.
but it was the mention of the ink, and the sudden shift toward a shared marking, that drew orion out of her shell entirely. she tilted her head, her dark hair parting like a curtain to reveal the intense, deliberate focus in her gaze. "a silhouette," orion mused softly, the abstract concept beginning to take form in her mind's eye almost instantaneously. thought she didn't have the visual reference just yet she gathered kitty was the type who would prefer something delicate and meaningful. properly deducing the unarticulated vision of a prospective client was, after all, one of the very first intuitive skills marcus had rigorously drummed into her head when she first began her apprenticeship.
with a slight contemplative hum, she reached into her pocket, pulling out a small, worn sketchbook and a fine point pen that she rarely, if ever, left the apartment without. she flipped past pages of heavy, shaded shadows to find a clean, empty corner and with fluid, practiced motions, her fingers began to create. "if you want to create a image of joy," a statement that carried a bittersweet irony, given how poorly versed she was in experiencing that particular emotion firsthand. "you have to let the figures breathe." her pen whispered against the pages as she rendered the fine lines. she turned the sketchbook toward kitty, revealing the delicate sketch of the style she would personally use if the appointment was booked under her. a capture of weightless motion, elegant and clean and entirely divorced of the heavy gloom orion usually favored.
"something like this," orion murmured, her thumb lightly smudging the edge of the drawing by accident. "stipple shading for the details, keeping it microscopic so it feels like a memory captured under a lens. a testament to a connection that actually holds. if you bring me the photograph, i can refine the features to match the two of you."
"So true..." Kitty said, nodding her head slightly. "Although, I don't know if I'm better at it... I just don't think I've experienced much of it." She was a small town girl through and through. One that had been relatively sheltered by her parents growing up. They'd taught her a lot and had prepared her for the inevitable but, still, Kitty hadn't been through very many tragically difficult things. Who knew how she'd react when she did go through something. She liked to think she'd be strong and handle it with grace, but only time would tell. "There's a braveness in facing it at all." There were details she was missing, clearly, and she wasn't going to pry into Orion's personal life without an invitation, but she still wanted her friend to give herself some more credit.
There was something special about watching an artist create. Kitty felt special that Orion immediately had a spark of inspiration to draw the image she'd just described. She was capturing Kitty's idea perfectly with her fine lines and delicate details. By the time she was done, it really looked like the girls were dancing. She could look at it and really believe that the girls in the image were dancing. It's something Kitty truly thought she could get her sister on board with.
"Exactly like this," Kitty agreed, taking the sketchbook for just a moment so she could get a closer look. She hadn't it back to Orion with an appreciative smile. "Like I can look at that and believe that they're moving..." She traced her pinky finger around the heads of the figures. "And I like the idea of our hair kind of being fanned out around us, you know? Not, like, in a crazy way but just enough to give the idea that they're moving." Kitty's smile widened. She'd been so on the fence about getting a tattoo but after speaking with Jazz and now Orion, she was really excited about it.
vada maintained a precise distance behind kitty, navigating the throng of festival goers with a calculated agility that ensured no stray child covered in jam made contact with her clothing. she listened to the explanation regarding the vendor’s geographical origin and supply chain with a faint, approving tilt of her chin. at the very least, the girl wasn’t blindly endorsing mass produced landfill fodder. vada could respect a thorough auditing process; she spent a significant portion of her own life vetting entities to ensure ethical compliance, so hearing that kitty had actually cross referenced the manufacturing standards of a tacoma boutique was a pleasant departure from the usual intellectual vacuum she encountered in this town.
"discerning origin and material composition is the bare minimum of consumer literacy, katherine, though i suppose i should commend you for exercising actual due diligence," vada remarked, her voice cutting through the ambient noise of a nearby bluegrass band. "the market is completely saturated with deceptive labeling, and supporting independent businesses that maintain transparent ledgers is an acceptable use of capital." when they arrived at the stall, vada’s eyes immediately did a sweep of the perimeter. the lack of foot traffic was the first positive sign she had encountered all afternoon; it meant she wouldn’t have to engage in physical proximity with people fighting over bargain bins. she stepped under the shade of the canopy, her gaze dropping to the garment kitty had triumphantly hoisted from the rack.
vada’s left eyebrow twitched upward.
the fabric itself appeared to be a heavyweight, decent quality linen or structured cotton blend; the weave was tight and the stitching along the hem was remarkably even, but the graphic design was an entirely different assault on her senses. the fruit illustrations were enormous, loud, and utterly unbothered by subtlety. "the construction is surprisingly robust," vada conceded, stepping closer to pinch the hem between two fingers to test the textile density. "the tension on the seams is correct, which validates the price point. however, the scale of the print is...a choice. it requires an immense amount of audacity to pull off a pattern that aggressive without looking like an upholstered piece of lawn furniture."
she watched kitty demonstrate the multi functional utility of the side closures, her expression shifting from skepticism to a mild curiosity. the dual purpose nature of the garment appealed to her love of efficiency, even if the aesthetic was lightyears away from her own wardrobe. "the versatility of the silhouette is its saving grace," vada noted, leaning against a wooden support beam and crossing her arms. "using the hip fasteners as an open back closure for a bodice would be clever. it would create an interesting drape. if you are intent on purchasing it, ensure you style it with an entirely neutral base to anchor the chaos of the print. a stark black or optical white bodysuit. anything else will look like you’ve been consumed by a produce aisle."
vada muttered, though her voice dropped an octave, losing a fraction of its habitual frost. she looked away, clearing her throat with immense dignity as if she were about to confess to a white collar crime. "and…assuming one possesses the requisite hip to waist ratio, which you do, it will likely look…quite darling on you. now go pay for it before i retract the compliment."
"From all the Shein hauls still being posted online, a lot of people don't care about doing the bare minimum," Kitty replied, shrugging. "People like cheap." She preferred quality, though, so she took the time to research things before she collaborated with a brand or bought something herself. Admittedly, she hadn't always been that way, because it hadn't been something she thought much about. But ever since learning more about fast fashion and how detrimental it was to the environment, she'd continued to educate herself and did her part as best she could.
Kitty laughed, nodding her head eagerly. The patter was a bold choice, but that's why she liked it! She loved taking different patterns and making them work. She had the utmost confidence that she could take this skirt with giant strawberries on it and make a really cute fit with it. Then she could turn the skirt into a shirt and make another really cute fit! Kitty nodded along to Vada's suggestion. "Exactly, less is more in this instance..." She agreed. "I've got this really cute white crop that's, like, the genuine perfect fit... and oh, my green Miu Miu bag..." The perfect combination was already coming together in her head.
"Oh, well, thank you..." Kitty chuckled at the compliment, shimmying her shoulders and batting her lashes. "But I'm gonna make this skirt look hot, not just darling..." She winked at Vada as she skirted past her to pay. When they skirt was wrapped in tissue paper and safely tucked away in her reusable bag, she went towards Vada again. "Welp, I guess I'm done..." Kitty said. She'd need to find her sister since they drove here together, but there was nothing else off the top of her head that she wanted to buy.
"Did you come with Jazz?" Kitty shielded her eyes from the sun with her hand and looked around for the other Davis sibling. "Are you sure there's nothing tempting you at one of these booths? Don't you want to fully embrace the small town local persona?" She gave Vada a teasing grin.

Open to anyone, and one muse can fill multiple connections, if applicable. Open to any ideas
ARIEL (27)
Would love some kind of new romantic connection for her, to help her find some happiness again (can be M/F/NB, ideally between 25-35 years old)
She also could have an older sibling if that was something anyone is interested in, they'd likely be 3-6 years older than she is
EBON (42)
His younger half sister (35-38) they didn't always grow up together considering Ebon moved around a lot, but whether or not she stayed with their mother or knows her father would be utp, she'd likely have the surname Delaney even if she knows her father. She can be mixed with anything but their mom is white. They always kept in touch because he loves her deeply despite the issues he has with their mother.
The family member he moved to Pinehaven to meet, they are 3rd cousins so not a ton of shared DNA but ideally the FC would have some match with Michael's Arab descent
HANNE (55)
Her host sister/best friend would be lovely! They are the same age and met when they were 16/17. Her family would be born/raised in Pinehaven but that's not to say she didn't leave at some point. She would have been married in her early 20s, but doesn't necessarily need to still be married. Everything is utp pretty much. She and Hanne never lost touch and are as close as actual sisters.
KEKOA (30)
Looking for 3 people to be part of his band Afterglow - M/NB between the ages of 28-32, Kekoa is the drummer so looking for lead guitar, bass guitar, and lead vocals. They're an alt/indie rock band (think Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys) that mostly play local gigs and sometimes in Seattle. They're playing for fun and not really looking to blow up or make this their career. They've all likely known each other for many years (likely since freshman year) and would be each other's closest friends. FC Suggestions: Thomas Doherty
Also would love a girlfriend for him! Kind of vibing with the idea of a woman 10+ years older than he is, but also like the idea of someone his age. Could be brand new or a per-established relationship!
KITTY (22)
Kitty's older sister (between 24-28), they've always been very close and are still best friends, spending a lot of time together. We can discuss their relationship or just go in blind! FC Suggestions: Ella Rubin, Sara Waisglass, Diana Silvers, Olivia Cooke but any fitting FC is fine with me (*most interested in this connection)
ODETTE (40)
Kind of interested in exploring a love interest for her, but it would be a slow-burn. She's demisexual so she has to have a really deep connection with someone before she starts developing romantic feelings for them
SACHIN (36)
A younger sister (30-34) who he hasn't lived in the same city/country as for most of his life. They went to boarding school together but he moved to New York a few years after graduating. I like the idea of her showing up randomly, maybe she's running from something, maybe she just needed a change. Either way it'll shake Sachin up a bit bc what are you doing here? Any fitting FC to match Dev Patel. filled by Ziva Arya
