this is my first post on tumblr kinda nervous😅😅

Damian who gives up fighting because he’s done nothing but since he was born and even for a good cause he’s still hurting. And he is like Bruce in that, grown up, he wants to be the person he needed as a child. And Damian needed somebody kind and patient.

His art studio is light and his kitchen full of food and drinks that he doesn’t even consume but family and friends and students and skittish kids are in and out and Damian paints and cooks and grows fruit and vegetable on his balcony.

He rescues animals and builds shelters and allows himself pride in his success.

It doesn’t come easy to him always, and he misses the rush, the firm knowledge that he can still fight and win, that he won’t be revived in green waters come morning and sometimes he still crosses lines with his insults but above all—

he was a premie baby, before 37 weeks. it contributed to his short height, how frail he is, and the constant pain he has in his body from low bone density (always sitting down).
