You could maybe argue that Zooble didn’t make the connection until Caine said in plain words, ‘how many insults I have to ignore’, but that’s a big stretch tbh. And, even if that were the case, why not address it? If you knew "hurt feelings" were the problem that were "causing" the torture which Jax did too. Far before Pomni started targeting that insecurity? I mean let's entirely toss out that it could've destabilized the whole circus and you should've been concerned about that. I keep circling back around to that line "we can't understand how he thinks" AND YET YOU DO. The writers just honestly entirely dropped the ball writing you. The "hiding something" with Jax from ep 5 led nowhere. You feel like an afterthought. If not for your role in consoling Gangle constantly, and providing narrative conflict with Caine, who are you independently? How do you think? I truly cannot understand there was never a moment of clarity about this oversight in ep 9. You'll reflect on actions that the story thinks weren't your fault while he's having his crashout, but not when he DIES??? Gangle feeling responsible for Jax's death has no basis whatsoever, still can't figure why the writers even put that in, you however had every reason to at least blame yourself even if that blame wasn't "valid" by story or objective standards! This angst should've been entirely reversed.
