just realized there’s a very real chance Choi could mistake Goldie as a child of his species, though is it really that big of a mistake when Soleum is no longer human and dragons are long lived?

I think I'm winning this year... first I hear something about a scp anime and a exit 8 movie existed and now I hear there's going to be a backrooms movie this year ^^ (my love of these horrors are winning I tell you, wwwwwwwwwww)

I was going to say something along the lines of “Choi sees Golden again after being with his Good Friend Doll for a while and his mind has a slight disconnect over them being the same despite technically knowing since the beginning they’re the same entity to parallel KSE seeing Braun in person again” but then I realized that this Good Friend Doll is literally a miniature version of Golden and not just an entirely different appearance like a small keychain-sized pink bunny plush and a huge TV-headed man. But! That could bring a different possibility, one where Choi is basically surrounded by a whole bunch of huge versions of his Good Friend Doll at the resort, so it’s hard for his mind to remember that he probably shouldn’t feel this safe in this disaster, especially knowing that while Goldie wouldn’t want to harm him, Goldie isn’t the only disaster there(but at the same time, Goldie would 100% protect him and wouldn’t tolerate anything like that happening in his resort). Choi feeling safe in the resort surrounded by all the mascots, that probably seems 100% like contamination, it probably would be in this case. Now I’m thinking about Choi in the resort, I wonder if he would basically would be a VIP guest or have a special job position,,, he probably won’t work or stay there without a good reason honestly, especially if it’s known that his judgement on what’s considered safe gets clouded almost like being contaminated while there, Bronze would probably smack him. Speaking of contamination, I remember seeing fanart popping up of instead of the Looky Mary contamination, Choi is contaminated into a Golden Resort employee after certain events of recent chapters, so that’s probably why that concept is stuck in my mind

love that Goldie and Braun are still friends in this AU! I can see Goldie liking Braun’s sophistication/elegance and since Soleum is a darkness now, there’s not that pesky hangup over Braun’s… everything. I wonder what Braun is interested in with Goldie, since it’s definitely a different first meeting than canon, but with enough interactions I can see Braun picking up Goldie’s potential, I believe in him.

you saying Choi signed one of Goldie’s contracts in the future makes me think Choi got Attic Wifed like KSE at some point, don’t know why, maybe it’s the whole Good Friend thing that’s making me think of the whole “got taken from my current workplace by my Good Friend to join his workplace” situation with KSE and Braun. Except I feel like Goldie would be more kind and gentle about it, but he is still a Darkness at the end of the day so who knows. And if Choi did get Attic Wifed, I feel like it’s because Goldie is or thinks he is protecting Choi in some way(if anything, probably from Choi himself), so he is forgiven in this hypothetical situation. Either that or he feels like Choi’s current salary and way of living are downright criminal and ridiculous, no in between
