In short, Yuuna’s race the Dannan are similar to the Lemurian, living for a very long time with special abilities. The primary abilities they have are reincarnation and regeneration (limbs, skin, organs). The conditions for both of these have limits as reincarnation requires a “proper burial” for it to take place and regeneration is often painful and requires a lot of energy to recover from extensive loss (like losing a limb) that continual regenerations in short periods often times results in death.

Snowfall isn't a phenomenon to either of them, but the sweetness in Zarina's voice nudges her enough to wake from her late morning slumber under the sheets. Eyelashes flutter a bit as Yuuna cracks her eyes open to peer outside onto the white scenery. The snow has been descending since the early morning hours, blanketing everything within sight. Her gaze falls on Zarina who is leaning over her. The ends of her hair tickle her skin.

Two beautiful sights she can drink in to her heart's content.

" The snow won't melt immediately, " Yuuna mumbles, nuzzling against the cold pillow case. " I can always see it later with you. Maybe with a cup of coffee on the side as a treat. "

Still, she sits up, tossing her golden hair behind her. Yuuna's eyes gently close against as she begins to nod off again, resting her head against Zarina's shoulder. A soft groan leaves her.

" Sleep a little more with me, yeah ? We'll do whatever you want after we wake up if you sleep another hour with me. It's a promise. "

She has more pressing matters to attend to. Realistically speaking. The nagging thought tumbles in Yuuna's mind over and over again to the point of near monotony. She should be studying or using this brief time for a reprieve to fulfill her soul with restful peace - like the average individual would. However, as if by divine timing, the claw machines have released an exclusive axolotl plushie for a limited time in celebration of a new exhibit at the aquarium.

" ... "

When Zarina verbally beckons her to come try her luck in snagging a pink axolotl from the machine, she falls silent for a moment.

There are more pressing matters to attend to.

" Sure, if you need some help from me to get something, " Yuuna replies as nonchalantly as she can.

Most of the machines had already been ransacked for the limited plushies but finally it is her turn after waiting patiently. There's no way she'll be selfless enough to refuse an invitation to get what she wants. Life offers such little luxuries that deserve to be snatched at first opportunity after all. Besides, the coin pouch weighs heavy at her hip, and she's feeling generous today. The prizes can be shared to satisfy everyone.

Two plushies won, and Yuuna hands one half of the pair to Zarina with a warm smile on her pink lips. Somehow, giving up something she wants has never felt so sweet. Perhaps it's the way the light falls on Zarina's countenance, but there's an impulse to just give it to the other woman.
