Screaming death

This dragon is a full-fledged different species of brood parasites. In my hc whispering deaths live in very big families, where hatchlings are taken care of by both parents and their older siblings. SDs evolved in accordance with Emery's rule (which says that social parasites tend to be parasites of species or genera to which they are closely related, since such behavior typically arises from intra-specific parasitism, when some organisms take advantage of others) and initially were WDs, who couldn't find suitable spots for their own burrows and resorted to sneaking into nests of others and laying eggs here, which later turned out to be an effective enough strategy for these individuals to branch off as new species and loose the ability to reproduce independently entirely. Their hatchlings are significantly larger and grow faster than WDs, so that they're able to more easily out-compete the host species, and even kill siblings from the same generation as them to receive a greater proportion of care, although they still are capable of forming a relatively strong and close connection with their foster parents and helpers in the nest. Compared to their close relatives, they lead a predominantly solitary lifestyle and don't spend as much time underground digging burrows, which explains their other anatomical differences, such as lack of rotating teeth, bigger size, stronger blast and etc.
