I learned recently that Spock not only personally rescued Saavik from her life on Hellguard– he took a whole year of personal leave (from being an active captain?) to install her with his parents on Vulcan, and personally saw to her education leading up to Starfleet! What I’m saying is - why the lack of adoptive dads!fic??
