I think Sukeban will be 10 years old soon, if not already there and I used to celebrate milestones like that a loooong time ago, but stopped once I realized there's nothing to celebrate if there's no significant achievements. We released one game nearly seven years ago, and I've been working on stuff since then... but seven years is a long time, man. Other studios have done much more in the same period of time and I want a legacy to look back to and feel proud of. I've made smaller games since 2016 (nearly 20 of them in fact), but there's something to having a catalogue of highly polished wide releases that a lot of people can feel close to, not just me and a handful others (that I love quite a lot; thanks for playing my experiments!).

Granted, some of this inability to do more is in part due to factors outside of my particular control, but that doesn't mean I couldn't have done better.
