It’s been a while since I mentioned how much I love this fuckin’ album. It’s been a few month since its release, but the first official video came out today!

This song is significantly better than the album as a whole. I must be getting old?

Sorting through the new releases that I was too lazy to listen to yesterday. I’ll definitely return to this album.

I wish I had more R&B in my record collection. I’ve never explored the genre, but know I should at some point. This album rubbed me the right way this evening. I’ll revisit it tomorrow,

The Weather Station album dropped today and did not disappoint. There are a number of other albums that are receiving decent press that were released today, but this one’s been on repeat all damned day. So good!!

Waylon Payne killed it on CBS Saturday Sessions this morning, There are two more videos to enjoy if you like this one. So fucking good!

Friday was a great day for new releases! The new Sleaford Mods album is incredible. Matthew Sweet’s new album is decent. I was totally unfamiliar with this lot prior to Friday. The angular guitars remind me of Gang of Four, which isn’t a bad things. Solid effort!

I’m enjoying the first “good” morning in quite some time. No money worries. No distractions. No weight on my shoulders that I’d rather not have there. When I was planning my departure from Milwaukee, I had similar feelings about things. I just wanted to go and didn’t put in the work to figure out (and plan) the things that I needed to. I’m not leaving a stone unturned this time around. I’m not looking before I leap. While I do want to speed the relocation up a little, I know what needs to be taken care of before I do.

This album dropped at the right time. I needed this more than coffee this morning.

I need to spend a little more time exploring what’s happening across the pond where music is concerned. If you stumble upon this and have suggestions of artists/bands I should check out, please suggest them.

I don’t understand this story, nor do I pretend to. What I do understand, is the people in this video don’t think remotely close to the way I do. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this insanity either.
