Midnight Snack đľ [Mick]
As for Eric, there was no rhyme or reason as to why he was in the cafeteria at that late hour. The food wasnât great but it was decent and they had tea bags, so. There he was.Â
And since it was the middle of the night no would could get annoyed with him for having two chairs occupied. One he was sitting low in and the other was holding up his feet. A book was perched on his chest, one hand keeping it upright. The table just beside him had his empty mug and a bowl of dry cereal sitting on. Every so often his other hand would come up to grab fistful of pieces to shove in his mouth.Â
He didnât glance up at the rustling of other people grabbing food, or the echo of a chair scrapping across the floor. All those sounds were perfectly normalâ nothing to be alarmed with.Â
It was only when the tray hit its beat that Eric lifted his head to see what had happened. From the looks of it, it was only an accident.
He glanced over to the other two members of the audience, waiting to see if they would take ownership of the bloke by means of a playful jab or something. Then one asked what Eric was thinking. The kid was probably alone, and judging by the way he was just standing there, sleep deprived. He sighed before making a move to get up.
It took him a minute to do so properly, his limbs unstiffening and joints cracking as he got to his feet. The book was left on the table and Eric made his way across the room. He lifted his brows in time with a shrug for the others to indicate he had no idea what the hell that just was.Â
Stopping within range of the mess, he crouched down to gather the grapes and cutlery. Eric peered up at the poor sod. âYou alright, mate?â

Miguel watched as one of the other guys moved towards the man and there was something like a tug in his gut that told him to shout: no!Â
He didnât, though, because, when it came down to it, Miguel was a coward and he definitely didnât trust himself or his instincts. Especially when it came to his still, very new magic.Â
And, yeah, the magic was relevant to mention here. The more that he looked at the guy who was standing there, staring at his plate that was overturned on the ground, he could see something odd about him. It was almost as if he was blinking very quickly in and out of existence. But, he was always replaced by something else, so that he still looked solid. Like one of those old timey television sets when the satellite didnât fully pick up the signal.
Miguel knew it was too good to be true that there werenât any ghosts in the cafeteria at this hour.
As soon as the guy got close enough and ducked down, the one who had dropped his tray reached out and grabbed him by the front of his shirt, pulling him to his feet and then tossing him with surprising strength. He didnât say anything, his voice just rasped as he took in a rattling breath.Â
Miguel jumped and winced, but he didnât move to get up. Not yet. He was just a brand new medium! He couldnât handle a possession!Â
He glanced over at the other guy who was so far untouched to see what his reaction was going to beâŚ

Look Kion had just wanted to walk around a bit and add some food into his stomach so that he can pretty much beat his body into a slumber submission.Â
He had no plans whatsoever to witness some guy fling another guy across a goddamn room. What in the fuck was wrong with this town?! So, if Kion had hopes for that sleep, he was sure that it had all evaporated the moment his eyes saw what had just currently played in front of him.Â
Quickly blinking out of his shock, Kion moved on instinct to reach the poor bloke who had just been hurled for no reason at all. He hadnât hit a wall or anything else for that matter so that was always a good thing, but Kion was sure the mere sudden impact of the ground had to hurt the guyâs body enough.
And you know it happened so fast that Kion wasnât sure if the guyâs head had hit the floor. He really hoped that it hadnât.
Kion got down to his level extending his arm forward so that the guy could have some support to hold onto while Kion himself used his other arm to try and slowly help him up or at the very least help him sit up.Â
Yeah that sounded like a stupid question to ask, but what else was there to ask, honestly? Not that there was much time to think of an alternative because from the corner of his eye he caught the crazy asshat turning to now face in Kionâs present direction. Great.
Kion wasnât exactly sure of how fast this guy could move in his present state and he was already feeling very pissed off for the bloke enough so that he could feel his skin beginning to heat up (that was never a good thing) and so Kion just logically acted on impulse.
âHey, why donât you just fuck off!â
