since i finally have a kingdom hearts sideblog i wanna post this funny little anecdote
i regularly like to make use of my local library and i wanted to read the kingdom hearts manga, so i had put the first volume on hold. i dropped by the library to pick it up on my way back home from some errands and the librarian i spoke to mentioned that she was also fond of this series and had the whole manga at home. we talked a bit more about it and ended up talking about how the narrative just doesn't make sense unless you apply a queer lens to it (read: riku being in love with sora). eventually i left with the manga and then i subsequently forgot to read it and had to return it.
