"Exactly, and if you're going to be doing something that big, you need to at least know what your partner is going to want, like if they like being the center of attention, then that's acceptable, but if they don't, then it's not."

"Exactly! I feel like the only time you should do something like that in public is if both parties are okay with it, like there are couples that engaged in DisneyWorld and DisneyLand and it works out well for them, because they more than likely talked about it beforehand."

"I’d have said no just on principle. At least now he’s got a ring he can hock to pay for the therapy he’s clearly going to need. Somehow, people forget that proposal is supposed to be intimate and not for the public to see."

"Exactly! Asking someone that intimate should be between the couple and like maybe one or two close friends."
