The Belgian Court has released new photos taken on the occasion of King Philippe’s 10-year on the throne. The pictures were taken on National Day during which the heir and the prince participated in the military parade for the first time.

Happy 62nd Birthday Philippe Léopold Louis Marie! (b. 15 April 1960)

King Philippe and his youngest daughter Princess Eléonore attended the Estonia-Belgium World Cup Qualifying Match. Belgium won 3-1 and will be going to the World Cup.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde held a reception for Belgian Athletes at the Royal Palace. The focus was on Tokyo 2020 Olympians and Paralympians. As well as medalists in European or World Championships.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited an exhibition at the Belgian Center for Fine Arts. The exhibit is dedicated to the works of David Hockney, a British artist focused on painting and drawing.

King Philippe held an audience with the president of the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The meeting marked Wallonia-Brussels Federation Day.

King Philippe visited the Youth Center of Marolles to learn about the activities and workshops that are offered.

In the afternoon, King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, Princess Eleonore, Princess Astrid, Prince Lorenz, Prince Laurent, Princess Delphine and Mr. Jim O'Hare attended the National Day Ceremony at the Palace Square. Princess Délphine took part in the celebration for the first time, after having been recognised as King Albert’s daughter in October 2020. Princess Elisabeth attended the military parade with the rest of her Belgium Military Academy classmates.
