I had this exact model, the C-80, as well as it's bigger, flashier brother, the C-801. You know what nostalgia is leaving out here? The beeps. Every time you pushed a button, it beeped. Every. Fucking. Time.

The obvious use for such a device is in an environment where YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE A CALCULATOR. It's awful hard to be sneaky and subtle when you're leaving behind a trail of 'beeps' like a parachute-pants-clad Hansel leaving bread crumbs behind.
