Once again watching dumplin' and watching Will stuggle with her self-destructive behaviors and pitting everyone against her because without Lucy she feels unworthy of love because of her body and poor relationship with her mother while also loved by loved so fiercely by her best friends, and this guy that she views as unattainable(even though hes not!!! Hes very attainable!!) hits so hard its not even funny

The fact that in Dumplin’ Willowdeans mom never actively fatshames her and Willowdeans insecurities that put a haze over everything (I.e. why her mom didn’t go to the Dolly parties, why Lucy didn’t join the pageant) and her mom really does love her and so do all her friends is something I think about a lot.
