Sigma was deep in thought writing equations on his whiteboard, softly humming to himself as he felt the universe around him, the sound of someone banging on his door had snapped him out of his thoughts as the door slid opened and Sombra walked in carrying a large box with a bag in hand "hey, some help here would be nice!" She called out, making sigma quickly go to her.
"ah, my apologies" sigma said and carefully took the box from her, feeling the weight of it.
"that's better, thanks big guy. Hey, are you busy at the moment?" Sombra questioned simply.
"not exactly, just writing some equations and formulas" sigma answered as he gently placed the box down on a clear area "may I ask, what is in the box and why did you come to see me, not that I mind you visiting!" He quickly added not wanting to seem rude.
Sombra chuckled as she went over to the box and patted it "I'm glad you asked, it's a present, go ahead and open it up!" She smiled at him.
Sigma was caught off guard at the announcement "A present? For me? I don't understand, is there a celebration I had missed or a special event?" He asked as he couldn't wrap his mind around why Sombra would get him a present, making him wonder if he was so caught up with his work that he had accidentally forgotten something important.
Sombra could basically see smoke coming from sigma ears, making her chuckle a bit "heh calm down, friend, I saw it while I was out shopping and couldn't think of anyone who was like it more then you would, plus I know you'll actually use it, unlike the others" she explained softly before smiling again "now don't keep me waiting here, open this bad boy up!"
Sigma was touched at the explanation, making him nod, plus since he was curious as well before he had carefully opened the box and his eyes widened in shock "Sombra... This is amazing" he smiled as she had gotten him a personal vinyl playing.
"that's all not!" She announced as she handed him the bag she was holding.
Sigma took it and looked inside, seeing a large assortment of classical music, his couldn't help but smile "Sombra, I-I don't know what to say" he said feeling overwhelmed with appreciation.
"heh you don't need to say anything but... There are ways you can always pay me back..." she grinned at him "once you write your page on the universe and become famous, just don't forget me alright or I'll get ya for forgetting one of your best friends" Sombra teased him, making him let out a joyful laugh.
"Of course! I could never forget you Sombra" sigma laughed, wiping away a tear.
"good" she jumped on the counter "if you are not busy, then let's listen to some music then"
"you want to listen?" Sigma was confused as he realized he didn't know Sombra specific music taste.
Sombra chuckled a bit and nodded "of course I do" she smiled as sigma had looked through the vinyl records and picked one
Sigma had let the music play, filling the room with classic music, as he couldn't help but close his eyes and listen as he felt whole again, letting out a sigh of contentment "thank you, my friend, this is truly amazing"
"heh no need to thank me" Sombra said softly, smiling as she had watched sigma enjoy himself, even for a moment "I'll always look out for you"
