Please tell me Iām not the only Sixer fan that believes that she doesnāt actually want to kill š I feel like her body is probably not under her control, and maybe on the beach Sixer lost control for the first time out of desperation. Also isnāt Sixer giving her heart up to the Spectre a metaphor for not wanting to feel anymore (ifykyk..)
SO SORRY it took so long to get to this, I kept getting too excited to structure a coherent sentence and Iām still struggling now so Iāll just word vomit about the topic
While I wouldnāt say Sixer is a homicidal person we DO know he is prone to aggressive behavior and outbursts. Noob notes Sixer was once a soft kind person but what drew their attention to Sixerās script usage (an allegory for drug use) was the way they began to lash out. So it is not naturally in Sixerās behavior to act out but rather a side effect of scripting, Iāll still bet on his internal dialogue sharing the same aggression and frustration their scripting brings to the forefront
"They became more competitive, more agitated whenever she lost."
"Whenever there was a leaderboard in our hangout sessions, she'd often stare at both me and their own names, their fists clenched tight.. I don't know what they were thinking at the time, but after a particularly heavy loss, she disappeared.."
In A Story Noob talks about trying to get Sixer to lay low as her scripting became painfully obvious in the way it affected environments and her body
"I wanted to keep her on a low profile, but often failed in doing so."
So Sixer was showing agitating and physically aggressive body language going off the bold text here, seeing Sixerās social reputation and the fact we know people do not like Sixer:
"A really unfortunate name." "I've heard rumors associated with it, but nothing real." ā "They wrote that even though they looked like other guests, people barely approached them because of it."
"Even if others were scared or uneasy about Sixer, we ignored it."
You could actually take the step to infer laying low can extend to Sixer showing aggressive behavior to other people outside of Noob, putting Noob in a position where they have to drag them out of conflict.
While I donāt think killing people was ever on Sixerās mind pre forsaken they were definitely pent up and frustrated with the way the world around them was treating him as a guest and as a guest with such an unfortunate number. Coming out in ego death and frustration that boils over into him hitting Noob, something that seems to shock even her
"But I was only pulled out of it when their fist struck me right in the face." "Everything went dark so quickly." "Sixer dropped me to the sand as I felt the pain on my face, slowly starting to get up as I felt a loud ringing in my ears.." "I coughed a bit, my face bruised as I looked up at them." ā "Sixer's expression mirrored mine; an expression of shock and regret meshed together."
This isnāt spawned out of nothing, Sixer turned to their addiction to make Noob proud, Sixer form a voice to talk to Noob properly, and while showing the magnum opus of his efforts to Noob (her voice) Noob cowards at the sound and rebukes all the sentimental excuses Sixer put to their vice.
Sixer hits Noob without thinking but not without reason, having the efforts of their love for noob (platonic or romantic whatever you likeee) demeaned while they rot just to show it enrages them.
Itās the most insulting thing Noob couldāve said in that moment and Sixer took it very personally. Iāll point to their milestone quote to show just how badly this single rejection sticks with them. Itās bad enough for Sixer to mentally rewrite the way she views their entire relationship. And it comes at a stark contrast to an affection Sixer still holds in her first milestone quote which I will embolden
"I never wanted to be this monster. I couldn't stand the thought of you seeing me like this." - Milestone 1
"Despite the pain, I began to find comfort in the pain. The pain caused by you." - Milestone 2
"You always hated me. I always hated you." - Milestone 3
In a realization we get. Oh so much. So much in so little.
"Open your heart." "Leave them behind, like they have to you.".
The Spectre wasted no time digging its heels into the rejection sensitivity and anger seeping out of this soon to be beast, a beast that is THIS HIGH on the lore based tier list because she is a creature of the Spectreās personal design.
In a realization Noob being something you can approach even if as a lose condition implies Sixer thought of Noob as an extension of her very heart. And the fact Noob follows you much like a slow weeping angel shows a lot of internal conflict as Sixer goes through the maze to find the rooted mass of what their heart is without Noob to give themselves up to these hopeless and dangerous feelings. To let all their feelings consume them in mass and all their contradictions.
The spectrogram for this game also shows an external conflict, Noob looking for the then missing Sixer. Giving chase.
"i couldn't help myself. i wanted to make you proud."
"and yet, you turned your back on me."
"left me to rot in misery. like i never meant anything."
More of how the rejection of his voice serves as a catalyst to her downward spiral
It is this spiral the Spectre feeds into as Sixer acts now, i believe Sixer is in at least primary control of their body to some extent. I think their feelings are what he has no grasp on. No regulation of. Often seen in chains like in the lover man comic the Spectre has full control to keep feeding the beasts melancholic rage, their violence can almost be seen like a toddlers tantrum in their kill animation of noob. Stomping and kicking them away, much less formal than the way they grip and gore other survivors with her tail and teeth.
Sixer is at war between sorrow yearning and a deep hate for themself and everyone else
A perfect storm for the Spectreās personal experiment piece, monster form carefully crafted by the Spectre itself
