“Hades,” the young centaur sighed the others name in relief. Out of anyone, and everyone, that Cillian could have bumped into, it was this god in particular that he felt the most comfort hearing the voice of. He knew he would be taken care of. Coming fully out from behind the wall, he began to approach where he knew the other was standing – from where his words originated. “Where are we?”

She appreciated his smile, and relished this moment with him. “Well, we’ll just have to see what you get when it comes around this year.” she chuckled. “And I’m thankful for you. Always.”

“So there’s nothing else that you desire?” the goddess asked, raising an eyebrow as she glanced at her husband. “Not even power? Or Zeus’s head?” she teased further, her expression softening as he continued to praise her. “And that is one thing in our existence that I will never have to doubt.”

“Are you sure you don’t want me to just find Makaria?”

“Cerberus likes taking selfies.”

“I’m sure that’s not entirely true.” she replied, though that didn’t stop a smile from forming on her lips. “I do appreciate it though.”
