have gold miners really lost 75% of their value in the last 12 months???!!!

$JCP has plenty of room left to fall in this chart

the most ominous chart I've seen in a while, this is SVXY, an ETF which tracks inverse volatility (inverse of .VIX).  What is potentially scary for the buy and hold investor here is the apparent divergent pattern, possibly pointing lower (possibly meaning MUCH higher volatility under stock selling pressure)

Gold looks like it wants to go lower, failed breakout of the sustained downtrend today

XHB (housing) looks like it is ready to test $27
