I already have my interview set and I was informed that I’ll be interviewing with the manager of the heart hospital also.  I’m wondering if I should ask about the Mom/Baby position or if I should stay with the heart hospital. I certainly do not want to come off as uninterested in the heart hospital position.  L&D and Mom/Baby are where I want to be post-graduation but I’m thinking that this heart hospital internship could be a very good thing since the heart is an important factor in any specialty.  Come fall semester I’ll be in Med/Surg II and I’ll be diving deeper into cardiology so this could be beneficial for my studies.  I think it could make me stronger in an area that I’m not the most confident in.  So what do you guys think? Should I ask or no?
