i did see that yes, i also felt like that comment caught jude off guard a bit and it felt unnecessarily harsh after they'd just given their all for over two hours. i'm sure tuchel knows what he's talking about, and he did also say that he was proud of the team for their drive and mentality and perseverence, but i can't help but wonder if it was necessary to criticise ther performance so publicly and immediately after a tough game (but then again, what the fuck do i know lol). i think jude's response was something like "well maybe he doesn't know what it's lik to play under these conditions against a team as good as norway", which imo was a slightly cheeky but fair (and typically jude) response. i do hope it doesn't land him in trouble, but tbh he's probably got a little leeway after scoring two consecutive braces and six goals in total this world cup (and as a midfielder too)

but anyway, YES - haaland (oh haaland <3) taking the opportunity to not only praise jude to high heaven but also defend him against his critics and say all those genuinely lovely things about his (boy)friend was just reeaally delightful :') it was just so so sweet and he's clearly very fond of jude <33 and the feeling seems to be very much mutual, because jude apparently defended haaland too, saying that one off day doesn't make him any less brilliant of a player, and he consistently mentioned haaland (first) when praising the norwegian team awww. it's all just really really sweet and wholesome and i very much hope those boys had a lovely cuddle somewhere private after all the media stuff was over and done with <3
