The Education system we’re having is a mess, there’s a big gap between what is taught at school and what is done outside classes and lecture rooms⠀ The lesson is that the data-science skills you learn in high school and college i.e. plotting graphs and finding lines of best fit are horribly, horribly insufficient when you get to industry.⠀ The gap between the two makes the learning curve super steep, and filling it in is pretty damn hard.⠀ But research will be there to give you backup.

DID YOU FIND CODING VERY HARD

A lot of things can be done via copy-and-paste without understanding their implications. I was among the group who would never really understand how the code we were using works. Coding has its higher complexity design challenges including but not limited to Scaling, availability, security, responsiveness; These are all challenging problems, and you can’t always Google your way out of them.
