As someone who's diagnosed with C-PTSD, anxiety, and early childhood depression; I LOVED how Lloyd was portrayed in season 2, him having his panic attacks, insomnia, social anxiety (in S1) and paranoid anxiety moments really felt like home to me. This is one of the reasons why I love Lloyd and why he's a huge comfort character to me!

And the fact is, this isn't the first time he was written to have anxiety and insomnia, in some moments it even implies he gets trauma flashbacks. written by Tommy Andreasan in a "could be canon" Ninjago story

This idea is in no way original I've read a TON of fanfics that covers the Og concept, but I still can't help but reminisce over what could have been

It's just crazy to think that what Floyd went through- that could have been BRANCH. Our lil grumpy bear who just started learning how to be happy again and is now singing on the regular. Having the very thing he was hesitate to do for over 20 years be the thing that gets him kidnapped and almost killed??

Like imagine after that he's hesitant to sing again. The truama of his voice being used against him making it very hard for him to want to sing. Imagine his panic when he thinks he's done relapsed back into who he was before. having the desire to sing so badly but being so afraid that no matter how much he tries, he jsut can't sing. The nightmares, the white hair that refuses to leave, weak Limbs, all that good stuff to add onto the angst.

This is the scene that made me fall in love with this movie.

It would have been so easy for them to just make cliche villains and say, "Oh the Rock Trolls hate anything like happiness and friendship, they're the opposite of Pop Trolls in every way." But they didn't.

Instead they gave us a scene that allows us to relate to the Rock Trolls, despite being antagonists in the story, and at the same time show us a vulnerable side of the main antagonist that made her more than just a one-dimensional villain.

And you know what, Barb is right. Friendship DOES take a lot of work, and don't think many people realize that consciously. As a recluse introvert, I've always been very aware of how much time and investment my friendships require. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do, or that you need courage to do, because a friend asks for help. Sometimes you need to spend time with friends even if you're tired yourself, because they need someone to listen or to stand by them. Sure, sometimes friendships are spontaneous and spring up in random places, but that doesn't mean you're not putting in the work to keep those friendships and grow them.

Like, HELOO????? He's clearly trying to be independent and push everyone away because hE DOESN'T WANT TO BE LEFT AGAIN
