{ —  After a series of rainy days the sun had finally decided to show itself to Aliena again. Not wanting to spend another full day indoors, Kaoru decided to get out and actually do something in town for once. Nevertheless, he didn’t really want to go anywhere new or unfamiliar, so he decided it might be nice to get some coffee and read by himself at a cafe for a while.
Stepping into one of the nicer cafes in the city, Kaoru soon realized he wasn’t the only person with a similar inclination that day. The line to order was nearly to the door and many of the tables already looked occupied. Scrunching his eyebrows together and frowning slightly, he wondered if it was really worth it and considered just leaving until a familiar image of long blonde hair caught his eye. While he hadn’t planned on having much social interaction today, if the girl near the front of the line was who he thought she was he figured he could use this coincidence to his advantage.
Ignoring the people behind her in line, he slid up to the girl and tapped her on the shoulder, flashing a friendly grin.
“Yo, Alice! Fancy meeting you here, huh?”
