i could write a full academic essay abt how legends kinda fumbled some of the interesting directions they could have taken behrad’s character but them being so reluctant to confirm or deny which parts of zari 1.0’s seasons he Actually experienced is one of them
like they are so many pivotal moments that absolutely would have had a different impact on them!!! i get them worrying abt if things might get too confusing with the timelines but there’s plenty of times where a throwaway mention to smth in the past would have made sense
like both in ‘zari not zari’ and ‘back to the finale: part ii’, behrad referencing “legends of to-meow-meow” in some way or form would make a lot of fucking sense. the fact that they never acknowledge mithra after s4 and the self-fulfilling prophecy of behrad leaving the dragon egg at his parents’ house is such a shame
