potion seller i am going into my hotel room and need only your Strongest Potions {roxas & kairi}
Though Roxas wasn’t a stranger to being thrust into strange and confusing situations, he didn’t expect to be faced by one before even reaching his assigned room. The extent of what he was accustomed to usually didn’t require much thought - things just somehow worked out in the end.
Surprisingly, making the move into his new ‘home’ was a whole ‘nother ballgame.
Entering the room, he had been greeted with a large cauldron and a set of instructions placed neatly on the table next to it. The idea was simple enough, but once he actually got to it…things were trickier than he thought. Who the hell did management think they are? Forcing guests to mix potions to get to their own rooms…did he LOOK like a damn wizard?
The blond had been at it for quite some time now (or so it felt like it). Each attempt resulting in another failure and another mess to take care of, his exhaustion increasing more and more. He sighed to himself, pulling his body towards the shelves of ingredients once again. This time…this time he would get it right.
He hauled himself up the ladder, reaching for the upper shelves. “Just my luck to have to do this by myself," the teen muttered, grabbing ingredients at random, "It’d be just tooooo easy if I had someone to work with, right? ”
Bitter remarks were cut short when he heard the gentle hwoosh of elevator doors rolling open. Roxas’ head turned towards the elevator, watching, waiting. Was this…was this his saving grace? Would he finally see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel?
Having been here for quite a few days already, Kairi's been in and out of her hotel enough to have vaguely remembered how the potion game is supposed to go, but she still has to pause and think about it every now again because despite catching on quickly, being suddenly forced into using some sort of magic-- if you can call it that-- is always difficult, no matter who you are (or so she would like to think). So, considering this, it's no surprise that she often stumbles upon others who also seem to struggle with the task.
Despite this, however, when she entered the elevator and made her way up to the fourth floor, she certainly hadn't been expecting to see... well, Roxas. It takes her a good moment to figure out who it is once she exits the elevator to see that someone's already here, attempting to collect ingredients from the ladder, but when she does-- okay, actually, she's pretty stunned for a moment there.
Still, as it is, she's also encountered a person who's supposed to be dead, so this shouldn't count as all that weird, right?
Collecting herself fairly quickly, she offers a smile instead of continuing to display her surprise and wanders over to the ladder, placing her hand on it as if to steady it, although it's not exactly wobbly, while she glances up at him.
"Roxas, right?"
"Would you happen to need any help?"
