"This past December we recently held our annual holiday event for the children of our community! The widely acknowledged Holiday Circle was held on December 14, 2013 this year, and it was at the Davenport Elementary School during the morning. This event was successful once again due to the wonderful Key Clubbers who took time out of their Saturday morning’s to volunteer for the event. The children who came to our event had a splendid and joyful time to play around and celebrate the holiday season! Holiday Circle this year had many holiday themed events that the children enjoyed very much! There was face-painting, tattoos, and arts and crafts, where children were able to show off their creative side. We also had loom bracelet making, ping pong spoon race, musical chairs, and many other activities, where the children were able to just enjoy themselves during this holiday season. At the end, everyone was able to eat with all the foods and drinks donated or bought by our fellow Key Clubbers. A big shout out goes out to all the Key Clubbers who were able to attend the event and also to those who could not make the event but donated to the event! Thank you for all the support that we received for this event, and we hope that next year’s Major Emphasis/Advocacy committee can create a magnificent Holiday Circle for 2014!" - Kenneth Ye, Officer Committee Chair of Major Emphasis/Advocacy Committee

"This year EHTHS Key Club's Hawaiian Induction dinner was masterfully planned and executed by the hardworking and diligent Special Event Committee. The same committee that did the KC Olympics, and the Kick off Party of 2013. The Officer Committee Chairs worked hard to decorate the school's cafeteria as well as plan out the events for the night. At this year's induction dinner, there was an attendance of over 200 people and the night was filled with lots of food and drinks, talented instrumental and vocal performances as well as special guest speakers."

"This year we had the pleasure of having two amazing guest speakers, who are both alumni of our school and our club, come speak to us about the influence of Key Club on their lives. "

"At first when I heard of the Color Run, I thought of it as a regular, boring run. However, it was the complete opposite! There was music, powder paint, and tons of smiles. Colors being thrown at the runners made it ten times more happier and made Atlantic City much brighter! The environment was overall happy, which is hard to say when it took place in the morning. It was honestly so much fun and I hope to have this opportunity again. (:"

"On the morning of Sunday October 13th, I woke up at 6 am, which not many high schoolers tend to do. As I got out of bed, changed into my Tenafly Key Club shirt, and left my house for the high school, I thought about how 3,038 other Key Clubbers across New Jersey were doing the same: waking up before the sun rose in the shivering cold to get ready for Fall Rally 2013. Fall Rally is one of the most anticpated district-wide events, next to District Convention. The morning was spent watching New Jersey District Board members dress up as superheroes and energizing the new and old members. The fight for the spirit stick was exciting and intense. Then, for the rest of the day, Key Clubbers got to roam the park to conquer all 13 roller coasters or spend time with a few friends who weren't into the adrenaline rush. I felt that every member, whether it was their first or last time at Fall Rally, went back to their homes at the end of the day physically exhausted but mentally ecstatic for the rest of the Key Club year." - Marisa Wong, Tenafly Co-President 2013-2014
