Trust yourself, accept the idea of free will rather than suffering with thoughts of betrayal .. often it's your own thoughts and conditioning that set you up for suffering, if you fear rejection, or suffer from the idea of rejection, ...it's because you have invested in the relationship with expectations and conditions and those expectations for the most part reject freewill , we are conditioned to create or expect bondage in our relationships, and it fails us . The only person you should want to control is yourself.. so many people forget that the most important relationship we have is the one with self . If we have a solid relationship with self and respect or even more build your relationships on the idea of free will rather than bondage , than you can trust that no matter what the other person chooses to do with their life you will be ok , you don't have to fear betrayal, because you respect and honor their freewill,not their bondage to you
