I've posted this one before and it was in the last Red Dog Gallery Show but it fits perfectly with the current show ... Then and Now. The piece is titled "From the Bits and Pieces we can pick up and start again next year". I took an unsuccessful painting from around 2013, cut 9 3x3 pieces out of it and glued them somewhat randomly on another piece of watercolor paper. Then drew new, sharpie sketches on top of them, similar to my napkin sketches. Finding fun new landscapes. There will be more. I've got a lot of old paintings!

Here’s a very quick 4x8. I used a white oil pastel as a resist before doing any painting. (New to me). That’s the white bits where the paint couldn’t stick. Pretty happy with it.
