working on my songwriting craft. still not super satisfied with how this one turned out, some of the lyrics feel awkward and clunky. also my voice is super weak after not really using it much lately, but that's ok. feedback is also appreciated :)

darkness // light (working title)

darkness crashes over me as I’m struggling to believe without light, I cannot see bound in shackles, I long to be free

as I run, I stumble and fall God it’s so hard to stand up tall when all around, tearing at the seams these fears that haunt my darkest dreams

facing down my demons battling my weakness my efforts all hit or miss I don’t know how to do this

As I crawl, despair settles in There seems no way for me to win And there’s no strength to find within It’s all over before it begins

all I need to do is just abide but it’s so hard to not lose sight will you help me, will you be my guide? through life’s crazy and wild ride

then slowly a sliver of light makes its way into this darkest night who knew so little could appear so bright? and at last, I find the will to fight

Hello friends! I’m doing some reorganizing/reshuffling of my blogs. This used to be a photography blog but since I don’t actually do *that* much photography and there are other chill things I’d like to share, I’ve renamed the blog and am turning it into a casual/random blog, as a way of documenting the more fun things in my life. Possible content includes photography and music, but is not limited to those two.
