everybody promise not to laugh at me but:
I recreated the Viceland house in Sims spinoff game "Paralives"
Floorplan shots of the main floor, second floor, and attic:
I am ......99.9% sure that I have everything accurate and to scale. The only things I couldn't control for were things that the in game engine would not let me do like get into granular detail about certain asset sizes and how different assets interacted with collision. For instance, the attic window is smaller and closer to the roofline irl but the in game roof asset does not allow you to put a functional window that close to the soffits, so I had to pump up the attic ceiling height by about 4 feet.
1st floor detail shots
I got really obsessed with trying to capture all the light sources dotted around the living room area, so here are nighttime shots and daytime shots. I decided to take out on the movie posters bc it just got too visually busy and all of my (painstaking) design choices were getting visually overwhelmed, but know that there was a version with that crazy poster-wallpaper aesthetic at one point. I might post that later for accuracy
We see only glimpses of the kitchen throughout the show, so the architectures is accurate but the set dressing is largely speculation
I'll post the second floor in a separate post tomorrow. We never see the second floor in the show, but I did an obsessive amount of zillow stalking for architectural accuracy. The furnishings are headcanon but made up for flavor
