African leopard fur in contrast is soft as hell - at least as soft and fine as a shorthair domesticated cat's if not softer - and of course, it is slightly longer (but tbh not by much and relative to size it would be shorter).

Serval and caracal fur are similar to each other, from what I remember, not as rough as dog fur but still less fine and more 'prickly' to the touch than domestic cat fur. I recal serval fur being slightly longer than caracal fur.

Keep in mind, these are faded memories from years and years ago so perhaps my assessment would change nowadays and would also be different dependant on region, season, subspecies and age of the animal.
