OK. So this mostly started because I’m very normal about Larry as a character (lying) and want to see what other pairings I could make with him—like,, Larry x Gumshoe? Funny, delightful, can’t go wrong with a Gumshoe pairing. Larry x Phoenix? Hilarious, love the dynamic, really fleshes out Larry as a character. But Lang??
Hear me out. Guy who has a track record of arresting DOZENS of people, like literally Lang sees you and boom you’re in handcuffs. Kind of an asshole but he gets the job done. Put him in a room with Larry, everything proceeds as you would expect, Larry’s accused of murder, we do the whole song and dance. But after that, Lang’s like “nah, he didn’t do it. Look at this guy, he’s not a killer. That’s my guy Larry he didn’t do that shit”
But yeah my life’s mission is to spread Larry propaganda and make this fandom appreciate him more as a character 😤 you love him you just don’t know it yet 🫵
Also I think I’m naming this ship Langry? My partner and I have kinda been calling their ship “Harry Wolf” because. “Harry Butz”. And Lang’s a wolf. And it’s like,, hairy but—you get the idea. But yeah <3 love them
