I can understand completely why the network would rather commit mass world wide genocide over just changing the way they act because it’s funded and run by the ultra wealthy but it’s super disappointing they never bring this up.

Like every time a discussion is had about weather Janus is the right thing or not the argument is sustainability will never work -> we have to kill everyone and the people working against the network don’t have a retort for that, they just know it isn’t right (because it’s not.)

But the simplest answer is to strip billionaires and multi millionaire of their wealth and shut down and change the standards of production.

Yes people would die from this regime change and it would take a long time to implement and figure out the logistics of, but it would be a whole lot better than just killing millions of people just for us to end up having the exact same problems in a few hundred years.

As much as I love this series I just can’t get this gripe out of my head, of course it makes sense the network would never do that and prefer genocide, but surely a character as smart as Wilson would bring this up at least once? He’s a huge conspiracy nut, why would he never say this?
